DC Extended Universe director Zack Snyder has spent much of his 2020 laying out teases and hints for what will come in the highly anticipated Snyder Cut of Justice League, which will arrive on HBO Max in March 2021.

Snyder has consistently pulled the curtains back on his prized piece of work since it was confirmed to be completed, showing looks into the editing room and joining many fan conversations to explain his vision.

Outside of the actual story in the movie, other parts of the film like its aspect ratio on screen and more confirmed Easter Eggs will be some of the most noticeable changes from the Joss Whedon-led 2017 theatrical cut of the movie.

Snyder's latest tease gives fans something to listen to as the anticipation grows for what will be seen on the screen.

In a new appearance on TheFilmJunkee's YouTube channel, Justice League director Zack Snyder offered a short tease of the musical score, composed by Junkie XL, that will accompany the Snyder Cut of Justice League. The snippet can be listened to in the clip below:

Zack Snyder heaped praise onto this score in the full video, describing the "unbelievable" job that Junkie XL did on this "wall-to-wall" score:

"He's really done an insane job. We recently just screened the movie for publicity and some other guys on the lot, and the music supervisor from Warner Bros. was like 'Holy smokes, the music is unbelievable. Junkie has just crushed it.' And yes, he really has, I mean it's wall-to-wall."

The full podcast video can be seen below, with Snyder's comments on the score coming at the 48:15 mark:

WHAT THIS MEANS

Snyder couldn't help but smile through the segment of Junkie XL's score that he played on this podcast, and it will certainly be something for the world to listen closely for when the Snyder Cut releases in full. The composer has been a regular addition to the musical work of the DCEU by providing additional music to Man of Steel and co-writing the score for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice alongside renowned musical composer Hans Zimmer.

Junkie XL also wrote the score for the 2017 theatrical release of Justice League before he was replaced by Danny Elfman, and it seems likely that some, if not most, of this unused score will come into play for his new musical work on the Snyder Cut. After crafting a powerful and intimidating theme for Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman that will be utilized once again in the Snyder Cut, Junkie XL's score will add a fitting intensity to the on-screen action of the Justice League six.

The Snyder Cut of Justice League will release on HBO Max in March 2021.
