Considering the excitement building for Marvel Studios' next venture on Disney+, very few plot details have been shared thus far, even for shows releasing in the near future. 2020 is tentatively set to feature the debuts of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in August and WandaVision in December.

WandaVision is rumored to be one of the must unique and trippy projects that the MCU has ever tackled, exploring the two lead characters through the lens of multiple eras of network TV. One aspect of this show that hasn't been discussed to date is the type of action sequences that fans have come to love from the movies released thus far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recent news has shed some light on the potential for that action as more of the show's crew is highlighted.

NEWS

Thanks to new listings from IMDB via Lizze Hill on Twitter, WandaVision on Disney+ is set to feature some sort of stunt driving action scenes throughout the series. These action sequences will feature the stunt driver double for Teyonah Paris, who plays the adult Monica Rambeau, although no other specific stunt doubles are mentioned.

WHAT THIS MEANS

Monica Rambeau was one of the biggest surprise cast announcements for WandaVision at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 since her only appearance thus far has been as a child in 2019's Captain Marvel. It still unclear what role Monica will play in this series or if any teases will be laid out for her to become the superhero Photon as she did in the comics, but she will clearly be able to handle herself, especially considering the ace pilot skills of her own mother Maria.

Rumors have pointed to Monica taking a pivotal role in the MCU's interpretation of S.W.O.R.D., which acts as a space counterpart to S.H.I.E.L.D. in the comics, and it will be interesting to find out if this occurs in the real current timeline or during Wanda's mind-bending shenanigans. Teyonah Parris will take on this exciting new role alongside series stars Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch) and Paul Bettany (Vision) when WandaVision arrives on Disney+ in December 2020.
