WandaVision is now deep into the back half of its first season, bringing insane reveals to MCU fans every step of the way. The last two weeks alone have brought the reveal of (what appears to be) Evan Peters' Quicksilver from the Fox X-Men movies while sending Wanda into such a frenzy that she expanded her Westview Hex even further.
Along with all of the incredible reveals thus far, there are still more than a handful of teases and questions that need answering over the next three weeks. Monica Rambeau appears to be in the process of turning into the superhero Photon, and there are still so many unknowns surrounding characters like Emma Caulfied's Dottie and Kathryn Hahn's Agnes.
Going back to Monica for a minute; the SWORD-turned-sitcom actress recently hinted at another big WandaVision reveal that's at least on the same level as her own hero's journey.
TEYONAH PARRIS TEASES THE AEROSPACE ENGINEER
In a new interview with ComicBook, WandaVision star Teyonah Parris teased how excited she is for fans to find out the identity of the aerospace engineer that Monica Rambeau mentioned in Episode 5, "On a Very Special Episode."
While fans wait a little bit longer to find out who the mystery character is, Parris said she "can't wait to see" how fans react to the reveal:
"When I, well ... I can't wait to see what y'all's reaction is when you learn who the aerospace engineer is."
She went on to admit that "everything about this show" has her excited as every new episode brings "so many little surprises."
"Everything about this show excites me. There are so many little surprises, things you don't expect. So in keeping with the theme the show has already set up, I'm always excited."
WHAT IN THE WORLD WILL WANDAVISION DO NEXT?
Teyonah Parris is already becoming a master at MCU teases, skirting around the details that fans want to know as WandaVision's debut season comes to an end.
The aerospace engineer that Monica mentioned in "Episode 5" may have only been mentioned briefly, but this is a pretty clear MCU tease that fans will have to pay close attention to. With the potential of it being anybody from Riri Williams to Reed Richards, Monica's secret connection is looking to be a mind-blowing reveal when it finally arrives.
In terms of Parris' excitement for the whole series, it's more than evident how much she's already loving her time playing a new key role within the MCU. Monica Rambeau is confirmed to be an important player for Marvel Studios in the coming years, moving on from the Disney+ series into a co-starring role in 2022's Captain Marvel 2 alongside Brie Larson and Iman Vellani.
With only three episodes of WandaVision remaining, Parris' tease will assuredly be a plot point that's at the forefront of fans' minds. The overall story will continue when "Episode 7" of the MCU's sinister series premieres on Friday, Feburary 19, 2021.
