Thor: Love and Thunder is all gas and no brakes ahead of its summer release. Marvel Studios officially kicked off its historic marketing campaign for the fourth installment, releasing the first teaser trailer a mere 81 days before the film hits theaters. Despite the long wait, the social reaction to the God of Thunder's return has been overwhelmingly positive.

The 90-second trailer featured Chris Hemsworth's Thor throughout his years, ranging from a child to a "retired" adult. Alongside Thor came the return of Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, now with a political makeover, and Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, who stands with his fellow Guardians of the Galaxy.

Beyond the fans, creatives from within Marvel Studios are overjoyed with the first look.

The God of Thunder is quite a popular kid at Marvel Studios.

Following the highly-anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder trailer, stars from the film and across the Marvel Cinematic Universe have sung the praises of the upcoming fourquel.

Leading man Chris Hemsworth promised fans "all the feels" in what he says is a "classic Thor adventure:"

"Here’s the first teaser for Thor Love And Thunder. All the feels of a classic Thor adventure . Big, loud and Crazy and full of heart. You’ll laugh you’ll cry, then you’ll laugh so much you’ll cry some more!! Love and Thunder coming at you all July 8th!!"

The King of New Asgard Tessa Thompson teased that a "few more" will be joining "the band" first established in 2017's Thor: Ragnarok:

"The band is back together + a few more, sweet children. July 8th. #ThorLoveAndThunder.
#HotThorsSummer."

Director Taika Waititi joked that this trailer was actually the "full length finished movie:"

"Here is the full length finished movie. Eat and enjoy."

Waititi followed that up by referencing the long-running outcry for the footage:

"I give it 2 days before they start whining about 'Where’s the full length trailer?'"

The Oscar-winning talent clarified that he himself is "excited" about the film after seeing the response to the trailer:

"To be fair, I also can’t wait. Seeing people see this teaser has made even me excited to see this film."

Guardians of the Galaxy star and Love and Thunder supporting player Chris Pratt exclaimed that this film will "blow you away:"

"Showtime A-holes!!! So excited to finally share a bit of what the Guardians were up to down under. Thrilled to join @chrishemsworth and @TaikaWaititi on this journey. Trust me it is going to blow you away. Coming to you July 8th @MarvelStudios @ThorOfficial #ThorLoveAndThunder."

Fellow Guardian Karen Gillan kept it short and sweet:

"Hell yeah!!!!"

Guardians director James Gunn, who is working with Waititi on some Thor 4 scenes, referenced a gag from the trailer in his tweet:

"Look into the eyes of the ones you love. #ThorLoveAndThunder teaser trailer."

Returning star Jaimie Alexander, who hasn't appeared in an MCU film since 2013's Thor: The Dark World, proclaimed "for Asgard!" on her Instagram.

Alexander also shared the trailer on her Instagram Story, praising Hemsworth's impressive physique:

"Get ready to see the human wall that is Chris Hemsworth."

Finally, heir to the hammer Natalie Portman shared the full trailer on her Instagram along with a simple lightning bolt emoji.

Marvel Studios' Familial Vibes

Even though this particular franchise is over a decade old, the vibes surrounding Thor: Love and Thunder are as fresh as ever. Most of this is thanks to visionary Taika Waititi's take on the character, as the critically-acclaimed Thor: Ragnarok took the God of Thunder to new heights.

The camaraderie that Waititi brings to his cast is why the Love and Thunder stars are especially enthusiastic about sharing this film with fans. While the likes of Hemsworth and Thompson being jazzed is understandable, returning actresses like Jaimie Alexander and Natalie Portman championing the fourquel only spells good news come the summer.

As for the future, Waititi's words ring true. With under three months until Thor: Love and Thunder arrives, demand for a deeper look is on the horizon. Once Moon Knight wraps its six-episode run and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hype simmers, all eyes will once again refocus to the mighty one.

Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters on July 8.
