Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally over the horizon with its long-awaited theatrical debut coming on December 17 to theaters across the world. Having built up more than a year of hype and anticipation for arguably the biggest solo superhero movie in history, fans and critics alike are anxiously awaiting what Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have in store for this movie's vast cast of characters.
Behind Tom Holland's Peter Parker and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Stephen Strange, this movie will utilize the talents of at least five major stars from other 21st-century live-action Spidey films. Whether this comes with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their respective Spider-Men is still a mystery, although only a short time remains until mysteries like this one are solved.
While No Way Home's promotional tour has been quite the roller-coaster ride since it officially started in August 2021, Marvel and Sony continue delivering material for fans to analyze and enjoy. This effort is now moving into movie theaters themselves, as seen in a recent promotional video from an Asian movie theater chain.
No Way Home Character Posters Now in Theaters
Malaysian movie theater chain Golden Screen Cinemas released a video highlighting in-theater displays for the upcoming release of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
This display includes character posters from Marvel and Sony's threequel lining the staircase, which showcases Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and some of the film's villains in their own images.
Willem Dafoe's Norman Osborn is featured in a poster that has a close-up of his villain fully suited up as the Green Goblin. At the bottom is a smaller image of him in his Spider-Man: No Way Home costume on the new and improved glider that's been seen in trailers.
Also getting a solo poster is Alfred Molina's Dr. Octopus fully decked out in his trench coat and glasses as his mechanical arms appear in front of him. This one doesn't appear to have a smaller image of Molina at the bottom.
Doc Ock & Green Goblin Ready for Spider-Man
As has been the case for the last few months, villains like Doc Ock and the Green Goblin remain front and center to keep fans aware of the madness that's coming in the MCU's last film of 2021. While there are almost certainly more posters for other characters scattered around this theater chain, it's no surprise to see Molina and Dafoe's villains remaining in the spotlight.
As theater companies like this one in Malaysia get closer to Spider-Man: No Way Home's release, fans can expect to see much more of this kind of material popping up all over the world. Sony and Marvel are inching close to the finish line with the blockbuster threequel's world premiere event just around the corner, and once the opening weekend hits, it will likely turn to mass mayhem.
Until then, the time spent should be jam-packed with more news such as this as the studios behind No Way Home continue to promote the movie and give small teases on what's coming.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release in theaters on December 17, 2021.
