MCU's Spider-Man 3: Photos Reveal Tom Holland Back In Costume On Marvel Set

Now that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is officially back in action , there will not be a dull moment relating to all things Marvel for the foreseeable future. Marvel Studios is currently hard at work with filming and/or post-production on over a half-dozen stories set to debut within the MCU in 2021 and 2022.

Many of these projects are still a complete mystery in terms of plot and/or story, most notably including the untitled Spider-Man 3 releasing in December. However, small leaks have come from the set of this movie , including a new one that just arrived.

NEWS

New photos from Just Jared are available to see from the set of Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man 3 .

Spider-Man can be seen standing near a street sign and preparing to swing into action.

More images show Holland masked up in a costume-concealing cloak in addition to Spider-Man standing on a car.

WHAT THIS MEANS

This leak obviously isn’t the massive Spider-Man 3 news that fans have been waiting for, which possibly would have included a title or more confirmations of actors involved in the film . However, it does give some new material to analyze with a new look at the web-slinger.

Taking a closer look, the action captured in the photos may not give away much information, but it does appear that the web-slinger is donning a new Spidey suit. The belt area is now more pointed where the red and black meet, and the extra web cartridges on his waist appear to be missing in this updated outfit.

Peter Parker is sticking with the same colors he used to make his new suit in Spider-Man: Far From Home , but there could be an update through the course of the movie as well. The wait continues for more information on the film including plot/based news and a title, and hopefully that news will drop in the coming months.

Spider-Man 3 is currently filming , and will release in theaters on December 17, 2021.
