When Hawkeye began filming in early December, fans wondered if the show would actually take place around the holiday season, only to be confirmed shortly with the appearance of a Santa extra seen in set photos. More set photos showed that Hawkeye would be taking place at the end of 2024 , and even more set photos indicate that Hawkeye will be taking full advantage of this holiday setting .

Funnily enough, it seems like even Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will at least be inspired by the season of giving with James Gunn directing a Disney+ special called, what else, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special . It seems as if Disney is obsessed with the holidays, and rumors are swirling that Spider-Man 3 will also have Tom Holland fighting for his life during the yuletide season.

NEWS

New set photos have been captured by photographer Atlanta Filming showing that Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3 filmed in front of Brooklyn's Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop. Atlanta Filming comments that the crew was “tearing down the set for Spiderman.”

More telling about these photos is that the store's windows are decorated with Christmas themed decals, which points to Spider-Man 3 taking place around Christmas.

WHAT THIS MEANS

To make it even clearer, that store isn't some reference or location seen in the comics, but an actual store located in Brooklyn, New York; although, it would be rather funny if Peter Parker were to visit a donut shop called Peter Pan, maybe it's the teenage hero trying to hide in plain sight. Speaking of the store, the fact that it's covered in Christmas decals, points to Spider-Man 3 taking place around the holidays.

It's curious that Hawkeye and Spider-Man 3 seem to both be set around the same time in the same city, but Tom Holland's Peter Parker may be too preoccupied being on the run to get help from Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton, who himself doesn't seem to be fairing any better. It would be cool if both these properties managed to reference one another in small ways.
