Marvel Studios is now officially running with its third MCU project of 2021 with the debut episode of Loki premiering on Disney+. Continuing the trend of picking up on stories with established MCU veterans in WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Tom Hiddleston's solo series took the baton directly from Avengers: Endgame and ran full speed ahead.

Numerous stories have come out to the public about Hiddleston's deep investment into this show in which he not only stars but serves as an executive producer as well. The ten-year MCU veteran has proven himself to be the resident expert on the God of Mischief, making the lives of his castmates and crew members that much easier.

Reports have even revealed that Hiddleston gave his coworkers an intense and in-depth masterclass on everything about Loki going into the show. However, a new interview with some of his MCU co-stars reveals that not everyone got the luxury of attending this event...

The Variety Virtual TV Fest from Variety hosted a chat with MCU stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Tom Hiddleston to discuss the debut of Hiddleston's Loki on Disney+.

From there, hilarity ensued as Stan and Mackie revealed details about why they were not invited to attend. Mackie revealed that "everybody was talking about it" while Hiddleston "gave a six-hour symposium about Loki" that they couldn't join:

Sebastian: "We were not invited!"

Anthony: "We were not invited! Sebastian and I were on the lot, and we were not invited!"

Sebastian: "There was a whisper about it."

Anthony: "Everyone was talking about it. Tom Hiddleston gave a six-hour symposium about Loki, and we were not invited!"

Sebastian: "Why were we not invited?!"

Olsen confirmed this to be the case, saying she was with both actors "on the lot:"

Elizabeth: "We were all on the lot! All three of us were on the lot."

Mackie revealed that Marvel "scheduled one of [their] biggest scenes" to shoot during the lecture, which meant that he and Stan were unable to "sneak out and crash the Tom Hiddleston symposium."

With Bettany joking around about Hiddleston having "a laser pointer" and the group laughing uncontrollably, Hiddleston simply threw out that "there was a whiteboard" when pressed for more details:

Anthony: "Yes, yes! We were all on the lot! Sebastian and I, they made us work. They scheduled one of our biggest scenes so we could not sneak out and crash the Tom Hiddleston symposium."

Paul: "Did you have a laser pointer? "

Anthony: "He gave a six-hour symposium about Loki! Go. Yes, Tom, we’re listening."

Tom: "There was a whiteboard."

TRULY ONE BIG MARVEL FAMILY

This chat may bring together five actors who star in three different Disney+ shows, but it's clear that all of them have a close relationship with one another and admire each other's work. It also gives Anthony Mackie a chance to break out his classic sense of humor, inducing laughs from every actor involved.

Hiddleston's Loki masterclass clearly was the talk of the town, even for MCU stars who were working on big additions to the Phase 4 story themselves. With only Bettany having been in the franchise for a longer period of time, the God of Mischief actor's impact can't be understated as he takes on his first solo story on Disney+.

Even though it's clear Marvel Studios had plenty of work to do to get its Disney+ content up and running, this masterclass turned out to be a must-attend event behind the scenes.

The bond between stars of different franchises continues to grow stronger with each passing entry, and hopefully, more events like this will take place where the team can join together off-screen.

Episode 1 of Loki is available to stream on Disney+.
