Ray Fisher as Cyborg

The premiere of Zack Snyder's Justice League is inching closer, meaning that the long wait supporters of the director have faced will finally come to an end. The journey began during the disappointing theatrical outing of the film's predecessor back in 2017, and this ultimately led to fan outcry combined with a lengthy grassroots campaign to grab the attention of Warner Bros.

The effort took years before it came to an end, considering that it was only last May when it was officially announced that the Snyder Cut will soon arrive on HBO Max. As a result, the visionary director shared a plethora of reveals for his much-talked-about version of the film, essentially dialing more hype for the eventual debut.

Given that the release is only days away, the marketing for the film has ramped up, and this has led to a wide array of promotional strategies such as an ongoing exhibit in Dallas as well as a slew of character-focused trailers . Now, another teaser has emerged to boost the excitement of fans.

RAY FISHER'S CYBORG SHINES IN NEW SNYDER CUT TRAILER

Zack Snyder officially unveiled a brand-new Justice League trailer, placing the spotlight this time on Ray Fisher's Cyborg.

The breakdown of the lines that were included in the trailer can be seen below:

Wonder Woman: "Whatever happened to you, you have gifts now."
Silas Stone: "Everything breaks Victor."
Elinore Stone: "I can't wait to see what you can be tomorrow."
Silas Stone: "In the world of ones and zeroes, you are the absolute master."
Wonder Woman: "These boxes will get inside you, and find your weaknesses and your fears."
Silas Stone: "Take your place among the brave ones."
Cyborg: "I'm not broken, and I'm not alone."

Alongside the reveal, the latest poster featuring a fresh look at the DCEU hero was also released.

CYBORG'S EMOTIONAL ORIGIN STORY IN JUSTICE LEAGUE

On the surface, It is fitting that the character-focused trailer for Cyborg relies on the hero's emotional connection to his parents and his powers, mainly because Snyder has already teased that Cyborg's story will be the “heart” of his cut of Justice League . This latest footage provides a glimpse of that element, and it will be thrilling to witness how it will unfold in the film.

One of the key changes from the theatrical version of Justice League is Cyborg's origin story, and it's safe to say that Snyder will restore what was originally planned into his cut to showcase the character's captivating subplot. After seemingly taking a backseat from Joss Whedon's version, Victor Stone's parents, Silas and Elinore, will be pushed to the forefront, and the taste of what's to come has been teased in this trailer.

Cyborg's arc will definitely be a must-see in Zack Snyder's Justice League , considering the fact that so much was changed during its theatrical predecessor. In many ways, seeing the true story (and emotional journey) of the character in this new version will serve as its own redemption.

Another interesting takeaway from the teaser is Cyborg's first flight, and this could hint that there must be a compelling reason why the character ends up in that predicament in the first place. Victor's realization that he can eventually be a hero in his own right could be similar to how Superman rediscovered his purpose after being resurrected, tying the two powerful characters together.

Overall, the release of this Cyborg-centric trailer means that all the character-based footage has been revealed, and it will be interesting to find out what comes next in the film's marketing campaign.
