The anticipation surrounding Zack Snyder's Justice League is at an all-time high, mainly because of the director's consistent reveals ever since it was announced for an HBO Max release last May. From an in-depth breakdown of things to come to actual bits of new footage , Snyder has been at the forefront of the film's marketing , and it seems that he will not slow down anytime soon.

From the get-go, it was established that Zack Snyder's Justice League will be very different from the disappointing theatrical version that was released back in 2017. Longtime Snyder Cut supporters had a lengthy grassroots campaign to grab the attention of Warner Bros. to pave the way for the film's debut on the streamer, and it will only be a matter of time before the dream will finally be realized.

So far, the promotion for Justice League has ramped up, with a slew of trailers and posters emerging lately . Now, another character-focused teaser has surfaced.

HENRY CAVILL'S SUPERMAN SHINES IN NEW SNYDER CUT TRAILER

Zack Snyder posted a new trailer for his cut of Justice League , placing the spotlight on the story arc of Henry Cavill's Superman.

There were several lines from different DCEU characters that were included in the trailer such as Martha Kent and Bruce Wayne. Here's a breakdown of it all:

Martha Kent: “The whole world is mourning. Grieving over a symbol.”

Alfred Pennyworth : “Let's hope you're not too late.”

Barry Allen: “It's like they were afraid of him.”

Jonathan Kent : “Fly, son. It's time.”

Bruce Wayne : “I made a promise on his grave.”

Steppenwolf : “This world will join the others.”

Father Leone: “What do you have to lose?”

Bruce Wayne : “There's no us without him.”

Wonder Woman : “We do this together.”

Cyborg: “Get down!”

Jor-El : “You will help them accomplish wonders.”

Superman: “They wanted me back for a reason. I need to find out why.”

Alongside the reveal, the director also shared a new poster featuring the Man of Steel.

SUPERMAN'S REBIRTH IN JUSTICE LEAGUE EXPLAINED

On the surface, the trailer sends a powerful tribute to Superman while also showcasing a sneak peek at the DC hero's resurrection subplot in the film. After an uneventful revival of the theatrical cut, it's evident that Snyder will look to redeem the Man of Steel by providing the character with a deeper arc. This was further reinforced by the director's previous comments that the hero will “reach his pinnacle” in this version.

Meanwhile, the inclusion of lines from characters creates an additional emotional layer for Superman, especially considering that the quotes were closely tied to the hero's humanity. This essentially paints a picture of Superman serving as the foundation of the team not because of his powers, but his way of sending the message of hope towards others.

While the black suit was already revealed to be the preferred suit of Clark in the film's final stand against Steppenwolf, the trailer confirmed that the Fortress of Solitude is home to a plethora of Kryptonian armor that could be useful for the hero's future.

After a short glimpse at the official trailer of Zack Snyder's Justice League , an extended look at Superman's flight after choosing the black regeneration suit is another captivating moment for the character, and the full sequence will definitely be a must-see when the film drops on HBO Max this month.

All in all, Superman's return in Zack Snyder's Justice League should serve as a fitting redemption arc for the character, and it will be interesting to find out how it will all fit in the film's puzzle.
