After a very lengthy grassroots campaign and numerous teases, Zack Snyder's Justice League will finally debut on HBO Max this March. The four-hour-long film will be a unique entry to the DCEU, considering that it will provide a brand new spin to what was already presented in the theatrical cut back in 2017.

The promotion for Zack Snyder's Justice League kicked into high gear last month when the official trailer debuted, showcasing new scenes that offered a fresh look and feel for the film. On top of that, Snyder has been also at the forefront of marketing for the film, with the director revealing interesting bits of information on how his Justice League was created as well as confirming that it will have another version in the form of Justice is Gray .

While fans wait for the eventual release of the Snyder Cut of Justice League , a new teaser has emerged, providing more clues about the role of a certain DC icon.

A BATMAN-FOCUSED JUSTICE LEAGUE TEASER REVEALED

Ahead of the much-anticipated debut of his Justice League , Zack Snyder shared a new teaser for his version, placing the focus on Ben Affleck's Batman.

The almost one-minute teaser shows off a fresh look at the Caped Crusader while a slew of lines from various DC characters such as Alfred and Lex Luthor can be heard in the background.

Cyborg : “I heard about you, didn't think you were real.”

Alfred: “Your guilts have become your reason.”

Wonder Woman: “Hate is useless.”

Darkseid : “I will come for my great prize.”

Luthor : “If you want the Batman here is something that can help you.”

Manhunter : “I have a stake in this world, and it's time I started fighting for it.”

Joker : “Ha, ha, ha”

Nuidis Vulko: “You've fulfilled your promise.”

The final shot features a stunning look at the Justice League, with Henry Cavill's Superman now sporting his black suit from the comics.

Alongside the teaser, a new poster featuring Batman was also unveiled by the director.

BATMAN IS VITAL TO THE JUSTICE LEAGUE

Ever since the character's debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice , it was made clear by Snyder that Ben Affleck's Batman is a significant piece to his DCEU puzzle. This latest trailer could serve as a hint that the upcoming version of Justice League will look to redeem the character in a huge way, especially after The Dark Knight's performance in the theatrical cut.

As expected, the lines that were uttered in the trailer all point toward Batman, and three surprise characters were included. Aside from familiar characters like Cyborg and Alfred, the line “I will come for my great prize” could come from Rey Porter's Darkseid, and this could be the first time that the villain's voice was inserted in the film's marketing.

On the flip side, there's also a chance that it was DeSaad, but the fact that the speaker mentioned a prize could hint that it is for Earth, and the Lord of Apokolips is now ready to collect his bounty.

Meanwhile, Harry Lennix's Martian Manhunter can be heard for the first time as well, saying the lines , “I have a stake in this world, and it's time I started fighting for it.” This could be mentioned at the tail-end of the film where the League has become aware of the threat of Darkseid and Apokolips.

In shocking fashion, Willem Dafoe's Nuidis Vulko was also involved in the teaser. Given that every line points to Batman, it's possible that Vulko will share a scene with Bruce Wayne. Not much is known on how this subplot will go down, but this could be part of the hero's plan to recruit Arthur Curry at some point in the film.

A key line from Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor seemingly hints that he will use his knowledge of Batman's secret identity to create a trap for the hero. Based on what's been revealed so far, it's likely that the villain is in cahoots with Slade Wilson, another character that has been confirmed to show up in Snyder's version, and this could very well lead to a potential showdown between Deathstroke and the World's Greatest Detective.

Lastly, the final shot serves as a perfect way to cap-off the teaser since it shows the full might of the superhero team.

While it was short, this teaser did provide a stockpile of clues about Zack Snyder's Justice League , and this will generate more hype for the film's arrival in the coming weeks.
