A GAME-CHANGING EPISODE
A return to Louisiana almost certainly means Sarah Wilson will once again be prominent to the show's story, after only being seen via phone calls for the past few weeks. This could indicate that there will be some strong character moments for Sam Wilson in the next episode, but considering Karli Morgenthau threatened Sarah and her children this week, there may be some high-stakes drama and action in Louisiana as well.
One thing is for sure; the penultimate episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is going to be a game-changer. The show's head writer, Malcolm Spellman, previously claimed that "Episode 5" will be the one he was most excited for fans to see, not only because his favorite character make his/her debut, but also because the episode is very emotional and viewers are "going to cry."
Considering Sam's closeness with his sister and the fact that John Walker just lost someone very important to him in Lemar Hoskins, emotions are sure to run high next week. Given Spellman's passion and enthusiasm for the political aspects of the story being told in the series, there's probably a good chance some of that will come into play in the episode as well.
The first four installments of Marvel Studios' The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's are available now to stream on Disney+, and the hour-long "Episode 5" will debut on Friday, April 16.
