2021's WandaVision set the stage for an incredible expansion of magical storytelling within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, winning a couple of Emmy awards along the way. Elizabeth Olsen would move from this series into the recently released Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, while Kathryn Hahn got her own spin-off series entitled Agatha: House of Harkness.

Following her appearance in WandaVision, there is barely anything known about where or when Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness within the MCU, even though she's already become a fan-favorite character. Theories have hinted that the powerful witch may have some ties to the Doctor Strange franchise following the new sequel, but no matter when she comes back, she'll have an entire fan base celebrating her next appearance.

Thanks to Hahn and Olsen's chemistry with one another in WandaVision, fans are hoping to see the MCU's two premier witches reunite in some form once Hahn gets her own solo series on Disney+. However, according to Olsen's most recent interview about the matter, it may be some time until that actually comes to fruition.

In an interview with Good Morning America, WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen looked ahead to her future within the MCU.

The actress behind the Scarlet Witch admitted that "there is no plan" in place for her character, but that she's excited to find out what the fans want to see from her after her first two appearances in Phase 4:

"There is no plan, and I’m serious. I’m not a good liar, I wish I had a plan. And I’m not sure. I’m really excited for fans to see this film because it is something very different from what they’ve seen, and I’m really curious to hear what they want after, because I think it is a very surprising film."

While she doesn't know if or when Wanda Maximoff will come back into the story, she's open to more stories with her "as long as the story's good."

Looking at the ending of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, she described the closing moments as "shocking" before sharing that she's looking forward to seeing what fans want from her next adventure in the MCU:

"I think it’s pretty shocking, the ending. Fans are usually the smartest ones for stories when it comes to these deep comic book storylines that I’m not as familiar with, and so I’m curious what they would want."

As for the Agatha: House of Harkness series, Olsen doesn't think she'll appear in it alongside Kathryn Hahn, but she loved working with Hahn when they did WandaVision together:

"I mean, I would do anything with Hahn, yeah. No, I’m not appearing in it, not as far as I’m aware, but I love that woman so much. That entire show was just filled with lots of joy, it was great."

Kathryn Hahn had such a powerful impact on Elizabeth Olsen's WandaVision that she earned her own spin-off series for Agatha Harkness, which is in the early stages of development for a release on Disney+. However, even considering how well Olsen and Hahn worked together last year, it's a mighty big mystery if the Scarlet Witch will find herself alongside her WandaVision nemesis again.

At the moment, there are no plot details or casting news pertaining to House of Harkness, and it will likely still be some time before this show moves closer to beginning production for its eventual debut. Due to that fact, Olsen is in the dark on the project as much as anybody, with nothing hinting that she will revisit Westview or reunite with the MCU's other intensely powerful witch anytime soon.

All nine episodes of WandaVision are now available to stream on Disney+. Agatha: House of Harkness is in the early stages of pre-production with Marvel Studios, and it's planning to begin filming in October.
