WandaVision only has three episodes left in its impressive season, and it's only a matter of time before answers will finally be revealed on what's really happening in Westview. The first MCU series from Disney+ is showing no signs of slowing down in terms of providing viewers with a stockpile of mysteries, including Vision's sudden resurrection all the way to Evan Peters' surprise inclusion as “Pietro Maximoff.”
As a result, this naturally prompted all sorts of theories about WandaVision, and some are even accurate. The mystery surrounding Wanda's powers combined with the hex surrounding Westview remains central to the show's intrigue, and the last three episodes are poised to shed some light on the whole ordeal.
Now, a new clip has surfaced, and it adds another piece to the complicated WandaVision puzzle.
WANDAVISION MEETS MODERN FAMILY
Good Morning America officially revealed an exclusive sneak peek for “Episode 7” of WandaVision, showcasing Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff inside a Modern Family-inspired version of Westview.
Elizabeth Olsen believed that Wanda Maximoff "has a tremendous amount of guilt” as she secluded herself from the world after the finale of 'WandaVision.'
Kevin Feige explained that they had to cut Doctor Strange from the WandaVision finale because "it would have taken away from Wanda," revealing that they "didn't want the end of the show to be commoditized to go to the next movie."
Kevin Feige confirmed that a deal was finalized between Benedict Cumberbatch and Marvel to appear in the final episode of 'WandaVision.'
WANDA'S REALITY IS IN SHAMBLES
Alongside an amusing narration from Wanda, the footage shows Tommy and Billy's video game controllers going haywire, transforming into different versions. Based on the clip, it's reasonable to assume that the Hex-pansion that occurred during “Episode 6" is disrupting Wanda's grasp with the reality that she created for Westview. If this is the case, then this spells trouble for the residents of Westview.
This also confirms that Wanda's control in Westview is not absolute, and the extension of the border could potentially mean that it is already taking its toll on her powers. Given that the town is experiencing an unusual time-jump every week, it's possible that remnants of the decades will clash, and this could place the lives of the people inside in danger.
Another takeaway from the clip is the fact that Wanda decided to “punish” herself by taking a “quarantine-style staycation.” In a way, this presents an opportunity for Vision to investigate Westview, and this could eventually lead to him meeting with Darcy. To recap, the two characters were last seen near each other during the Hex-expansion.
Overall, the consequences of Wanda's action are expected to be the main focus of the upcoming episode, and it will be interesting to find out if this problem will be resolved as soon as possible.
