WARNING: This article contains spoilers for WandaVision Episode 7.

“Episode 7” of WandaVision is now available to stream on Disney+ , and the MCU series is building up to an intense conclusion. Coming in as likely the last episode based in the sitcom-style alternate reality, Wanda showed the most notable signs of truly losing her cool as her “quarantine-style vacation” turned into the start of the fight for her family’s lives.

The new episode brought some major plot developments in just over half an hour of action, with much of the focus coming to Monica Rambeau’s final jump into becoming a superhero . This event was followed up by the major reveal in the episode’s final minutes, confirming that Kathryn Hahn’s Agnes was a cover for the classic Marvel villain Agatha Harkness .

In that same vein, an eagle-eared fan noticed a small but crucial sign of Agatha’s arrival earlier in the run time.

AGATHA BEHIND THE CAMERA

A video posted by @SatanIsntEvil on Twitter confirms that Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness was the interviewer talking to Wanda in Episode 7 of WandaVision .

The video shifts the pitch of the scene when the interviewer asks Wanda “Do you think maybe this is what you deserve?” When adjusted, it’s undeniable that the voice asking the question is Kathryn Hahn. The video also references an interview Hahn to show off the audible similarities between the voices.

This plot point was implied at the end of the episode during Agatha’s musical number recapping all the way she’s affected the events in Westview through the first six episodes. This detail also confirms that Agatha was able to trick Wanda right in front of her, both with her voice and her appearance, offering more evidence that Agatha Harkness' "magic" is strong enough to beat Wanda Maximoff at her own mind-trick game.

IT’S BEEN AGATHA ALL ALONG

Wanda’s reaction to Agatha after she asked if Wanda deserved what she’s getting was somewhat telling that things weren’t what they seemed once again. Replying with “What? You’re not supposed to talk,” Wanda knew, even in that detached moment, that something was wrong.

The Agatha Harkness reveal has taken the MCU fandom by storm, even considering that rumors had pointed to this being the case since the show first premiered on Disney+ . The real questions that remain are these: what is Agatha’s real goal, and how will she terrorize Wanda and Vision to get what she wants in the end?

With the show likely moving more into the classic MCU style of storytelling in its final two episodes, the stage is set for a crazy and unpredictable run in the last couple of hours of run time.

Episode 7 of WandaVision is now available to stream on Disney+, and Episode 8 will premiere on Friday, February 26, 2021.
