The Mandalorian Season 2 is about to end its already-successful sophomore run with a climactic encounter between Mando and Moff Gideon in order to save Grogu from the Empire's grasp. The latest episode , “Chapter 15,” was a notable one for the hit Star Wars show since it delivered two instances of breaking tradition.
First, Din Djarin once again removed his helmet, marking the second time that Pedro Pascal was seen on-screen in The Mandalorian after a brief moment from the Season 1 finale. The main reason behind the character's sacrifice of The Creed was to accomplish a dangerous mission to locate Moff Gideon and Grogu. As a result, Pedro Pascal's performance as Mando was fully utilized, and unsurprisingly, the episode didn't disappoint.
"Chapter 15" also marked the first time that Grogu was not featured on-screen, surprising given the popularity of the Yoda-like toddler. Despite that, it's already a given that Grogu will be featured prominently once again in the massive Season 2 finale of the show, but not much is known about the character's location.
And now, an eagle-eyed fan may have pinpointed the location of Moff Gideon's Imperial Cruiser in an in-depth breakdown.
NEWS
Star Wars Theory posted a video breakdown of the exact location of Moff Gideon's Imperial Cruiser. To recap, Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin removed his helmet to obtain the location of Gideon's cruiser in an Imperial terminal. Upon using the terminal, the ship's location was shown, but as expected, it was only through coordinates and the actual position.
While cross-referencing the image from the aforementioned scene above to a galaxy map from SWgalaxy.com, Star Wars Theory pointed out that Moff Gideon's cruiser is located on the planet Nal Hutta and its moon Nar Shadaa in the Hutt Space region. Upon pinpointing the location, Star Wars Theory shared how Nal Hutta is a "huge crime world" where the Hutts "do their dealings and their business."

WHAT THIS MEANS
The fan's detailed research about Moff Gideon's exact location in The Mandalorian Season 2 is another example of the immense passion of the Star Wars fan base. This also shows the expansive history of the Star Wars mythos, and the fact that it can be accessed very easily for fans to decipher is an impressive feat for the franchise.
Based on the reveal from Star Wars Theory, it makes narrative sense for Moff Gideon to prefer Nal Hutta as his main hiding spot given the planet's ties to the criminal underworld. It seems that Mando and the rest of his allies will have a hard time pursuing Moff Gideon on the aforementioned planet since there will be outside forces that will make the mission much harder than it is.
Despite that, Boba Fett's experience as a bounty hunter, combined with Fennec Shand's skill as an assassin for hire, could come in handy in this risky circumstance. Of course, Mando's expertise in battle and Cara Dune's impressive resume as a Rebel shock trooper will no doubt serve as an advantage for the ragtag group of heroes.
All in all, it's safe to say that the much-anticipated Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian will be a must-see.
