The Mandalorian Season 2 is bringing fan-favorite Star Wars characters back to the forefront, and the approach is doing wonders for the hit Star Wars show. After a self-contained debut season, the show's sophomore run completely expanded the scope of the galaxy-spanning narrative of The Mandalorian.

The debut episode of Season 2 didn't waste time introducing new characters, quickly debuting Cobb Vanth in live-action and offering a surprising tease at the tail-end of the premiere which finally confirmed Boba Fett's much-awaited return. On top of that, Ahsoka Tano made her live-action debut in "Chapter 13: The Jedi," and the character's arrival earned positive reception from fans and critics alike.

Meanwhile, another surprise live-action introduction during "Chapter 11" was Bo-Katan and the rest of her Nite Owls. Played by Katee Sackhoff, who also voiced the character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, Bo-Katan's live-action debut was a memorable moment for Star Wars fans.

And now, a new piece of memorabilia from the set of The Mandalorian offers a fresh new look at Bo-Katan's highly talked-about debut.

A new behind-the-scenes image from The Mandalorian Season 2 has surfaced online via Reddit user TheNextBIGThing, showcasing a fascinating look at the core characters of “Chapter 11: The Heiress.”

The image features Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin alongside Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan atop the Razor Crest. Other cast members included in the image are Simon Kassianides' Axe Wolves and Sasha Banks' Koska Reeves. Meanwhile, Grogu can be seen inside the ship, seemingly happy to be protected by the gang above him.

As it is, this new image serves as a reminder of the impressive third episode of The Mandalorian Season 2. It's always refreshing to see cast members taking a break from filming, and it's clear that they are still enjoying themselves on the set when the cameras are not rolling.

Not much is known if Bo-Katan and the rest of her allies will return in the final two episodes of The Mandalorian, but it's safe to assume that their storylines are far from over. Sackhoff, Banks, and Kassianides were all tightlipped about their potential involvement in the final stretch of The Mandalorian Season 2 to avoid potential spoilers, but it makes narrative sense for the trio to return since the Darksaber is still in the hands of Moff Gideon.

At this point, Moff Gideon is in the possession of Grogu, and Mando will no doubt do whatever it takes to rescue the Yoda-like toddler. Given that, it's possible that he will find a way to locate Bo-Katan and the Nite Owls to seek their assistance, or Mando could end up meeting them while searching for Moff Gideon's Imperial Cruiser. After all, both Bo-Katan and Mando are after the same Imperial officer.

All in all, it will be exciting to see how the final episodes of The Mandalorian Season 2 will play out.
