Spider-Man No Way Home Tickets Footage

The "will they, won't they" question Marvel fans have been asking for over a year about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's involvement in Tom Holland's third Peter Parker flick won't be answered for a couple of weeks, but the train to Spider-Man: No Way Home has already left the station. Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are honoring their upcoming Spidey film by rebranding Cyber Monday to "Spider-Monday," which marks the first day No Way Home tickets go on sale.

Leading up to Spider-Monday, Sony has revealed new trailers, TV spots, and posters spotlighting Holland's web-slinger alongside Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange as they gear up for a multiversal conflict hitherto undreamt of.

The floodgates to Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets remain closed for a few more hours in domestic markets, but some international time zones have already turned the clock to November 29. Malaysian theater Global Screen Cinema is one of the first chains to begin selling tickets to the December blockbuster, and it's debuted a new social spot to mark the occasion.

It's officially Spidey season.

Spider-Man: No Way Home celebrated its overseas ticket sale launch with a brief social spot highlighting Tom Holland's bridge battle with Alfred Molina's Doc Ock.

The footage shows Holland's Peter Parker feverishly FaceTiming Jacob Batalon's Ned Leeds shortly after his arachnid alias has been revealed to the public.

While this happens, Zendaya's MJ attempts to get her "dude's" attention as she impatiently tip-toes across some high scaffolding.

Shots of the aforementioned Doc Ock battle cut in, as well as quick cameos from Jamie Foxx's Electro and Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin to boot.

The 15-second spot ends by announcing "tickets are on sale now" in time zones where it's already Spider-Monday.

Spider-Man's Circle of Trust

While the new spot uses mostly recycled footage, it does help piece together what will likely be the opening scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Rocking his black and red suit from Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker erratically exclaims "dude!" to best friend Ned Leeds over and over again. Based on his attire and placement atop a silver scaffolding, this frenzied FaceTime likely comes in the immediate aftermath of his alias outing outside Penn Station.

Previous footage showcased Spider-Man balancing atop the same scaffolding alongside MJ, as helicopters surrounded the adolescent Avenger.

It looks like the video call with Ned takes place just before the above frame, as MJ doesn't get Spidey's attention until after he hangs up the phone. The new couple then leap off the building, and presumably head straight to Bleeker Street.

The biggest reveal from this new spot is that Peter wastes no time in alerting Ned of his current circumstances. While his guy in the chair was bound to see the Spidey situation on the news eventually, Peter's emphasis on telling Ned face-to-face indicates he's desperate to make sure those closest to him know the real story before JK Simmons' J. Jonah Jameson can misconstrue it.

Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets go on sale on November 29, just under three weeks until the film debuts in theaters on December 17.
