Excitement for Spider-Man: No Way Home is hitting all-time highs. Sony and Marvel Studios even announced a fan event in L.A. for the reveal of the film's second trailer.

It's a strange move, that's for sure––but this movie's marketing has been anything but normal. The project only got its first official poster a few weeks ago, much to the rejoice of theater owners everywhere.

No Way Home's first trailer was later than usual as well. Many fans convinced themselves that the movie was never actually going to release one because the internet was doing all of Sony's marketing for them. Obviously, that's not how it went seeing as the original teaser eventually came out and shattered viewership records.

With new footage just around the corner, a brand-new poster has been released online.

Spider-Man & Doctor Strange on No Way Home Poster

Sony and Marvel Studios released a brand-new poster for the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home, while also announcing that the movie's second trailer will be arriving tomorrow.

The poster prominently features Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Benedict Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange with hints of Alfred Molina's Doc Ock, Green Goblin, and Electro.

The poster can be seen below:

Spider-Man Gets Strange

Sony seems to be trying its absolute hardest to avoid giving anything else away about the film––seemingly to a fault.

The poster also isn't all that different from the first, featuring the same background, Iron Spider suit, and Doc Ock tease; just this time around, Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange has joined the party.

Putting Strange front and center seems to indicate that Cumberbatch's wizard will be a main player in the film; most expected him to be what Iron Man was in Homecoming.

What is strange, however, is how both Sony and Marvel Studios still refuse to put the other villains in the marketing––they know everyone knows, and they've been all but directly shown in the first trailer.

Thankfully, there's the next trailer to look forward to in a day's time and then just over a month until fans can watch Spider-Man: No Way Home in its entirety on December 17, 2021.
