After months of anticipation, Spider-Man: No Way Home's second trailer has finally dropped.

The hype surrounding No Way Home has been sky high ever since the Multiverse rumors were eventually confirmed. The anticipation grew even further when the film's first trailer arrived back in August 2021

Directed by Jon Watts, No Way Home is the third solo outing of Tom Holland's web-slinging hero, and it will follow the aftermath of Far From Home's ending where Peter Parker's identity was revealed to the rest of the world.

As a result of the titular hero's identity crisis, Peter will seek the help of Doctor Strange, thus eventually kicking off the Multiversal storyline of the movie.

No Way Home's marketing is solely focused on establishing its Multiverse plot and the arrival of non-MCU villains into the mix. The second trailer confirmed the inclusion of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx's Electro, Thomas Hayden Church's Sandman, and Rhys Ifans' Lizard.

Now, as the discussion of the movie is still apparent on social media, major MCU stars have shared their exciting reactions toward the new trailer.

Several MCU personalities shared their reactions to the latest Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer on social media.

Spider-Man star Tom Holland shared a heartfelt thank you for the overwhelming support from fans, ending his message with an emotional "Love you 3000!"

"We just debuted the trailer to a theatre of fans and the reaction was incredible. Thank you for supporting me throughout my Spider-Man career. Your love and support continues to blow my mind and I couldn’t be more grateful. This film is for you and I hope it brings you as much joy as it has for me. Love you guys 3000!"

Ghost House Pictures, which is the production house of Spider-Man trilogy director Sam Raimi, welcomed back their "old friends" to the Marvel realm by sharing screenshots of the non-MCU villains from the trailer:

 "Welcome back old friends."

Jamie Foxx, who is set to return as Electro in the threequel, shared an image of lightning in the sky along with a caption of "light em up" and the hashtag "#chasingspiders:"

"Light Em up … ⚡️⚡️ ⚡️ #chasingspiders"

Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned Leeds in the film, described the trailer as "Tuff" while hyping up the events of the movie:

"This trailer is TUFF😤😤😤y’all really gonna know how it all plays out on December 17🔥🙌🏽🕷 "

No Way Home composer Michael Giacchino also joined the fun by hyping the film on Twitter:

"Can… not… WAIT for you guys to see this!"

Spider-Man Stars & Crew Assemble!

Spider-Man: No Way Home seems poised to be one of the biggest MCU films to date. The different reactions from both franchise mainstays and returning stars should further boost anticipation for the much-talked-about threequel.

From the get-go, it has always been apparent that Tom Holland is passionate about the Spider-Man character. The Marvel actor's heartfelt reaction to fans and exciting comments are a testament to his passion, and it's safe to say that this will be translated once again on screen.

Jamie Foxx's short but interesting tease should fuel speculation. The hashtag, which reads "#chasingspiders," could serve as an indication that there will be more than one Spider-Man in the movie. Of course, this is amidst the rumored Marvel comebacks of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

It's also fitting that Ghost House Pictures (Sam Raimi's production company) joined the reaction galore to No Way Home's trailer, especially considering the fact that they were involved in the creation of most of the film's villains.

At this stage, No Way Home is shaping up to be an emotional Spider-Man event that will be filled with nostalgia and thrilling moments. Holland already teased that the film is "three generations coming together," and it seems that this promise will pay off in a huge way when it premieres in theaters on December 17, 2021.
