WandaVision director Matt Shakman recently revealed that he had spoken with Spider-Man 3 director Jon Watts for unspecified reasons, likely relating to the multiverse breaking. Doctor Strange himself will be appearing in Peter Parker’s third outing, which could relate to Jamie Foxx as Electro arriving in the MCU too.

WandaVision is reported to lead directly into the Doctor Strange sequel, which itself has been confirmed by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige to connect with the Spider-Man threequel. Who knows if WandaVision could ultimately end up connecting to Spider-Man 3 too?

As production for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has currently been halted due to the ongoing pandemic, Elizabeth Olsen took the time to sit down for another interview with a UK outlet and answers whether she’ll be in Spider-Man 3.

NEWS

In an interview with Capital UK, Elizabeth Olsen discussed her potential involvement in Marvel Studios' Spider-Man 3. After the interviewer listed off multiple big names reported to show up in the film, like Benedict Cumberbatch, he asked Olsen if fans might see her appear in the Spidey threequel as well. Olsen answered, “I assume you might if everyone's in it, but I haven't shown up to that party quite yet, I don't think,” while being visibly confused.

WHAT THIS MEANS

Watching the actual interview, Elizabeth Olsen’s answer is nowhere near definitive or hinting at her being involved in Spider-Man 3. Still, it would make sense for her to potentially have at least a minimal appearance alongside the sorcerer supreme. Wanda breaking reality in WandaVision could likely be what causes villains from other realities to appear in Spider-Man 3.

It could be that Strange appears to give Peter some help, likely with a small appearance from Wanda before the both of them embark on their mission to fix the multiverse in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which releases months after Spider-Man 3.
