After a plethora of teases throughout its first five episodes, Moon Knight's finale finally featured the debut of Oscar Isaac's Jake Lockley. The third alter made his presence felt during the episode's post-credits scene, taking out Ethan Hawke's Arthur Harrow for good while also revealing that he is now Khonshu's Fist of Vengeance after Khonshu left Marc Spector and Steven Grant.

While Disney and Marvel are giving hints about a potential second season for Moon Knight, Jake Lockley's future is still unknown. The show's director teased that he would love to explore the character more, saying that he wants to "see life through Jake’s point of view at some point."

What's Next for Jake Lockley and Moon Knight?

Jake Lockley's story in the MCU is only beginning, and Moon Knight's post-credits scene made it clear that there will be more stories involving Oscar Isaac's dangerous alter in the future. The two new stills above offer the best look yet at Jake, with him giving a sinister vibe that cements his much darker personality.

Based on what is shown so far, Jake is more ruthless and is more than willing to kill, much to the delight of Khonshu. There's a good chance that Marc and Steven will eventually find out about Lockley, considering that they already have hints about this third alter.

However, it remains to be seen how they will confront him since they all share one body. In addition, it also seems that Jake is the dominant alter, mainly because he freely goes around doing Khonshu's bidding without Marc and Steven knowing about it. Jake's return in a future MCU project also means that fans will get to see his Moon Knight costume in all its glory.

All in all, Moon Knight's future is filled with interesting possibilities.

Moon Knight is now streaming on Disney+.
