Season 2 of The Mandalorian feels like it was forever ago as it’s been almost a year since the second batch of episodes debuted on Disney+.
But with much more Star Wars content heading to the streaming service, including The Book of Boba Fett that was directly set up by the adventures of Mando and Baby Yoda, the Pedro Pascal-led series has never been more relevant.
Because of this, it looks as though Disney and Lucasfilm want to keep The Mandalorian fresh in everyone’s minds before Season 3 is expected sometime in 2022, and they’ve called on Funko to get the job done.
More Mandalorian Funko Pops!
Funko unveiled several new additions to The Mandalorian’s Funko Pop! collection, celebrating some of Season 2’s biggest players, including Marshal, Fennec, and Luke Skywalker holding Grogu.
The Marshal wearing Boba Fett’s old armor in the middle of Season 2 was what fans would later realize was foreshadowing the return of Boba Fett — one of the streaming series’ most pivotal moments.

The new Funko also comes with a chance at receiving a Chase variant of the Pop! with The Marshal not wearing the helmet.
Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec is also featured in this new lineup, rightfully so as she immediately became a fan-favorite character in the show’s second season.

Funko has also introduced a hologram Mando as part of this Pop! expansion, giving the bounty hunter the classic blue hologram look that Star Wars fans know and love.

One of the best-kept secrets of The Mandalorian Season 2 was the surprise appearance of Luke Skywalker in the Season 2 finale. Holding The Child, this new Pop! looks to the future as Luke potentially has a new Padawan in Grogu.

Another pivotal moment that brought about the finale of Season 2 was Grogu learning to use the Force, which Funko has made into a Pop! for fans to add to their collection.

And another high-paced moment that followed Grogu using the Force was a Dark Trooper swooping down and abducting The Child, despite Mando's best efforts to save him.

Lastly, Funko will be immortalizing the iconic ending to The Mandalorian’s second season that set up The Book of Boba Fett’s introduction — Boba Fett claiming Jabba the Hutt’s throne.

Building Star Wars Around The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian brought about a level of success and splendor to the Star Wars franchise that hadn't been seen in quite some time. The streaming series offered a grounded Star Wars experience that offered the potential for plenty of world-building through each episode, hooking in a wider audience than ever before with big names and the beloved Baby Yoda.
Because of this, several spinoff series for Disney+ are now in the works that stem from The Mandalorian, including Ahsoka and The Book of Boba Fett.
Pedro Pascal's adventures on the small screen have rung in a whole new era for Star Wars content on Disney+, so it makes sense that Lucasfilm would want to capitalize on that by expanding the show's Funko collection. However, these additions are all of quality, as they mostly depict Season 2's biggest moments.
Between Dark Troopers posing a relentless threat against Mando and his team, Boba Fett returning to the screen in his armor for the first time since the original trilogy, and Luke Skywalker showing up at just the right moment to save the day against Moff Gideon and his forces, The Mandalorian made its second season one to remember.
And now, Funko has made it so that fans can add any of these amazing moments to their ever-expanding Star Wars collection.
