Marvel Studios is set for some major expansions over the coming years, with many of them utilizing the still-elusive multiverse. What If...? is currently exploring those alternate realities in animated form, and the live-action side of the MCU is set to blow this concept wide open with films like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The Sorcerer Supreme is in line for some tough challenges in both movies, particularly evident by the subtitle of his solo sequel. Multiverse of Madness sets the stage for never-before-seen insanity. Thankfully, he will have quite the superpowered back-up in the form of Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch and even Tom Hiddleston's long-standing anti-hero, Loki.

Hiddleston's solo Loki series on Disney+ helped set the stage for the MCU's dive into the multiverse, which eventually led to rumors that Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino would reprise their roles as Mobius and Sylvie, respectfully, in upcoming MCU installments that feature Hiddleston. With those rumblings swirling, Di Martino recently shared an interesting tidbit of information on what she'd love to see in the future.

Sylvie Teams Up With The Scarlet Witch?

Heatworld spoke with Loki star Sophia Di Martino, who tackled the question of which Marvel Studios character she would like to see Sylvie team up with in the future.

She replied by admitting she has seen fans who "want to see her with Wanda (Maximoff)," which came amidst rumors of Di Martino returning in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:

"People seem to want to see her with Wanda, and I think that would be pretty cool as well. Sylvie and Wanda, could go either way."

Di Martino Teases An Epic Alliance

While it's part of MCU actors' job to keep details tip-lipped, Di Martino certainly gave fans enough information to be considered a tease for one of 2022's biggest movies.

After the final episode of Loki's first season premiered on Disney+, Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief was "expected" to be joining Cumberbatch and Olsen after helping kickstart the multiverse's apparent collapse. The rumors pointing to the same fate for Mobius and Sylvie brought even more excitement to this upcoming movie, with all three having the potential to play a role in correcting this course of events.

Di Martino's response could simply mean she's a Wanda Maximoff fan, as is the case with many in and around the MCU, especially after Phase 4 kicked off with WandaVision. Taking these rumors into account, this also may be Di Martino's way of teasing her next Marvel appearance without actually saying something that would get her in trouble.

Considering how massive the Doctor Strange sequel is becoming, it wouldn't be a shock to see Sylvie and possibly more heroes make the transition into the theatrical MCU. Whether that happens in next year's Doctor Strange sequel is still a mystery.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will premiere in theaters on March 25, 2022. All six episodes of Loki are available to stream on Disney+.
