Justice League Actor Arrested for Harassment
Shortly after midnight on Monday, March 28, the Hawaii County Police Department arrested Justice League star Ezra Miller in a Hawaiian karaoke bar in Hilo on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment.
According to reports, Miller yelled obscenities and became agitated and aggressive at the venue. Details allege they grabbed a microphone from a woman singing at the bar and threw themselves at another man playing darts.
The bar owner attempted to calm Miller down several times, but Miller remained in his agitated state. The actor was released on a $500 bail after being charged for both offenses.
More Off-Screen Trouble for DC's Ezra Miller
Ezra Miller has seen their fair share of troubles and issues in the public eye over the last few years, even as they worked their way up to superstardom through the DCEU.
The actor was also caught on camera seemingly choking a woman outside of a bar in Iceland in April 2020, which led to fan cries for them to be removed from his role as The Flash. While it's still unclear what happened this time in Hawaii, this isn't something that's going to be easy for Miller to work through, given their incidents becoming a trend.
At the moment, Miller is waiting for their latest effort in the DCEU to come to theaters when The Flash hits the big screen in June 2023. Although they've already made appearances in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League (along with the Snyder Cut), this kind of media attention will be on fans' minds as his next superhero movie inches closer.
While the details behind this event in Hawaii are still being unearthed, seeing Miller involved in something like this is undoubtedly disheartening for their fans and the team behind his efforts within the DCEU. How it affects his DCEU future is still a mystery, but this will bring plenty of scrutiny as they work to redeem themselves and straighten up their private life.
The Flash is currently set for theatrical release on June 23, 2023.
