The Book of Boba Fett is currently airing on Disney+ with new episodes coming every Wednesday. The show follows former bounty hunter Boba Fett as he takes over the criminal underworld of Mos Espa on Tatooine. Boba is accompanied by Fennec Shand, a character that was previously introduced in The Mandalorian. The pair returned to Jabba's palace at the end of The Mandalorian Season 2, where Boba killed Bib Fortuna and took the throne.
The premiere episode of the series on Disney+ saw great success, with 1.7 million households streaming the show in its first five days on the platform. Since then, fan excitement and anticipation have only increased, with many viewers claiming that the second episode, titled "Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tatooine," featured some of the best Star Wars moments to date.
Throughout the first three episodes, there have been multiple cameo appearances from different characters throughout Star Wars. Most notably, Episode 2 featured two of Luke Skywalker's friends from a deleted scene in Tosche Station, marking the first official time that they are seen on-screen.
Another cameo was recently spotted in The Book of Boba Fett's latest episode, which delivered a fan-favorite from a recent project.
The Book of Boba Fett's Recent Cameo
Warning - This article contains spoilers for Episode 3 of The Book of Boba Fett.
In the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett, "Chapter 3: The Streets of Mos Espa," fan-favorite character Peli Motto made a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo.
The character first introduced in The Mandalorian could be seen walking the streets of Mos Espa with her iconic pit droids behind her. The shot also featured stormtroopers' helmets on spikes, which was also seen in The Mandalorian.
Peli Motto has appeared in both seasons of The Mandalorian thus far, helping Mando fix his ship when he crashed there in Season 1 before going to her for additional help in the first two episodes of Season 2.
Amy Sedaris, the actress that portrayed Peli in The Mandalorian, wasn't officially cast in the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett, so it is likely that the character was just played by an extra.
More Cameos to Come
The first three episodes of The Book of Boba Fett have been filled with cameos, and it is safe to assume that there will be more to come. Rumors have already swirled that Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra, who was last seen at the end of Solo, will return in some capacity as the leader of the crime syndicate known as Crimson Dawn.
It has also been reported that Harrison Ford could potentially show up in the season's final episode with a cameo appearance as Han Solo, which wouldn't be a surprise due to the lengthy history between Boba Fett and Han.
It is always nice to see a character from another project show up somewhere else. It makes the world feel more realistic, and it is a nice nod to the fans that try to hang on to every detail and find Easter eggs.
With appearances in both seasons of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, it is safe to assume that Peli Motto's time in the galaxy far, far away isn't finished.
The first three episodes of The Book of Boba Fett are now available to stream on Disney+.
