The Book of Boba Fett already premiered its first episode on Disney+, and many would agree that there's a lot to look forward to in the series. Created by The Mandalorian producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, the Star Wars series follows the story of Temuera Morrison's famous bounty hunter alongside Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand.

The Book of Boba Fett is set after the events of The Mandalorian Season 2, meaning that it follows the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Marketing also showed that flashbacks of Fett's survival from the Sarlacc pit.

One of the questions that fans had in the weeks leading up to The Book of Boba Fett's premiere is a potential appearance from Han Solo. The character is closely tied to Fett since he is the one who captured Solo for Jabba The Hutt and, ultimately, is the cause of his apparent demise.

Now, as The Book of Boba Fett makes its presence felt on Disney+, a new rumor may indicate that the series will feature a beloved scoundrel.

The Sun shared that Star Wars actor Harrison Ford, who played Han Solo in the original Skywalker Saga trilogy, filmed for a cameo scene in The Book of Boba Fett's final episode.

The outlet revealed that the 79-year old actor spent three days filming in London for The Book of Boba Fett after taking a pause from filming the fifth Indiana Jones movie.

Ford will reportedly be de-aged for the Disney+ series.

Aside from the Skywalker Saga's original trilogy, Ford also reprised his Han Solo role in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens and 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Han Solo & Boba Fett's Reunion

It is unknown if this rumor is true, but many would agree that a Han Solo return makes sense, especially considering his shared history with Boba Fett.

At this stage in the Skywalker Saga timeline, the pair's reunion may be tension-filled due to their last encounter. It's likely that one of the hidden agendas of Fett for his newfound empire is to seek revenge against Solo and even Luke Skywalker, thus leading to the fateful encounter with the scoundrel.

It's also intriguing that Harrison Ford was tapped to reprise the role instead of Solo actor Alden Ehrenreich, who portrayed the younger version of the character. Lucasfilm might've gone with Ford to capture the same type of reaction from Mark Hamill's return as Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian Season 2

It will also be a welcome sight to see a de-aged Harrison Ford playing Han Solo. In many ways, this would give fans a sense of nostalgia similar to Hamill's appearance as Luke in the previous Star Wars series.

It remains to be seen how Solo would be involved in The Book of Boba Fett's narrative. There's a chance that his cameo would be utilized the same way with Hamill's Luke, potentially acting as a saving grace when the odds are stacked against Fett.

If this happens, it would easily change the dynamic between Solo and Fett. It would also act as a closure between the two since Solo would be saving Fett's life, which would undo his accidental mishap that led to his apparent demise.

One running theory about The Book of Boba Fett is the potential inclusion of Darth Maul's Crimson Dawn and Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra. If both individuals appear in the series, this would explain Solo's heavily rumored return since his connections to Qi'ra would leave him to a much-awaited encounter with Fett.

The first episode of The Book of Boba Fett is now streaming on Disney+.
