All eyes may be on Loki after Tom Hiddleston's solo series debuted on Disney+ last week, but the Thor franchise is still forging ahead without the God of Mischief.
The fourth movie focusing on Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder is well underway with Taika Waititi back at the helm for what is possibly the craziest Thor movie yet. Not only is the film stacked to the brim with stars, including Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Chris Pratt, and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, but it will also mark the return of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster who will take on the mantle of The Mighty Thor.
Thor: Love and Thunder recently wrapped filming in Sydney which has led to a number of cast and crew wrap gifts popping up on social media. This has given fans a better look at some costumes and characters from Thor 4, including the first glimpse at Portman's Mighty Thor.
FIRST LOOK AT JANE FOSTER AS THOR REVEALED
A Thor: Love and Thunder crew t-shirt, via @loveandthundernews on Twitter, has shown off the new costumes for Thor, Valkyrie, and Jane Foster's Mighty Thor.
Natalie Portman's Mighty Thor suit appears to be heavily inspired by her comic counterpart:
Four different Thor 4 crew t-shirts were shown in the original Instagram post, which has since been removed.
One of the graphics is dedicated to the technology used to make the new Marvel movie, including ILM's Volume which was also used on The Mandalorian.
WILL THE REAL MIGHTY THOR PLEASE STAND UP?
Fans were ecstatic to learn that Natalie Portman would be returning to the MCU in Thor 4, but that excitement only intensified when it was revealed that she would be transforming into The Mighty Thor.
This t-shirt graphic is the best look yet at Jane Foster as The Mighty Thor, and it looks like her costume will be comic accurate. Foster is wearing a red cape and armor that appears similar to Hemsworth's Thor. Foster is also depicted wearing an iconic Viking helmet from the comics with Mjolnir at her side.
While details about Portman's transformation into The Mighty Thor haven't been revealed it's expected that the movie will draw from The Mighty Thor storyline in which Jane Foster is diagnosed with cancer and ends up wielding Thor's hammer. Set photos have shown Portman training hard for the role and one video seemed to reveal Foster getting her superpowers.
Now that filming on Thor: Love and Thunder has officially wrapped it hopefully won't be too much longer before we get a proper look at The Mighty Thor.
