The Mandalorian Season 2 is off to a strong start after a successful debut episode. The Emmy award-winning Star Wars series returned with a bang after providing fans with a captivating first episode filled with Easter eggs and surprises.

The Mandalorian didn't waste any time in setting the storyline for the latest season, introducing an integral character in the form of Timothy Olyphant's Cobb Vanth, as well as finally confirming the return of Boba Fett. This led to positive reactions from Star Wars fans, hyping up the next set of episodes in the coming weeks.

And now, a brand new piece of promotional material from The Mandalorian has surfaced, highlighting a newly-introduced character in the series.

The images manage to highlight Cobb Vanth's live-action debut in the Star Wars franchise, providing a closer look at the character's armor. Before The Mandalorian Season 2, Vanth was only depicted through tie-in Star Wars materials such as Chuck Wendig's Aftermath novel. Now, it's good to see the character in the flesh and playing a more integral role in the franchise's narrative.

Olyphant's impressive portrayal of Cobb Vanth earned admiration from many fans, with some even saying that the character deserves his own spinoff show. Still, there's no word if the character will return during the latter episodes of this season. There's a strong chance that he will come back, especially after the unresolved Tatooine plot points of Boba Fett's inclusion, as well as Fennec Shand's mysterious disappearance from the first season.

It remains to be seen how Vanth will eventually return to The Mandalorian, but it will be interesting to see how it will all play out. Vanth did say to Mando that he "hopes" that their paths will cross again down the line, potentially hinting that his story in The Mandalorian universe is far from over.

Whether or not Vanth returns is anybody's guess, but it's clear that the character already left a mark in the eyes of many Star Wars fans.
