Zendaya recently questioned her future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Spider-Man: No Way Home as she doesn't know whether "we're gonna do another one." Regardless, the actress is excited about the upcoming press for the threequel, stating that she and her fellow cast members are "gonna have a good press tour."

Another possibility for Zendaya is that the spell cast in No Way Home could end up working after all with MJ forgetting her time with Peter Parker since they only began dating when she knew he was Spider-Man.

That hasn't stopped Holland from being appreciative of his co-star and wishing her a happy birthday while also revealing something more to fans.

TOM HOLLAND WISHES ZENDAYA HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland recently uploaded a photo taken by Zendaya on Instagram wishing her a happy birthday,

Holland captioned the photo, "My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx."

A closer look at Holland's costume seems to suggest that this was from the production of Spider-Man: No Way Home as it has the triangular pointed belt that the one from Spider-Man: Far From Home lacked.

SPIDER-MAN CO-STARS DATING AGAIN?

It's not definitive whether Holland is referring to Zendaya as "My MJ" in the romantic sense or simply that she has been portraying his generation's live-action Mary Jane, who was previously played by Kirsten Dunst.

The two of them were seen in public kissing, but it wouldn't be the first time two Spider-Man stars had a relationship during production.

The same happened with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, who began dating shortly after filming The Amazing Spider-Man. However, that relationship ended after a few years. So, hopefully, whatever the relationship is between Holland and Zendaya, they're both happy.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on December 17, 2021.
