While Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is just around the corner, it hasn't been the biggest talk of the town. Instead, that honor goes to Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Fans have been clamoring for the trailer for months, having gotten two separate ones for November's Eternals, yet not one for Spider-Man. That has finally changed however, and the much anticipated first look at Peter Parker's next adventure is here.

The trailer was finally released by Sony, and it looks like an insane ride. There's the official return of Doc Ock, Doctor Strange messing up the multiverse, and even a tease of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin

All of that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what can be found digging through the film's first teaser. The new glimpses into the upcoming movie has everyone ecstatic; and who can blame them?

Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has now taken to Instagram to comment on all of the reactions, revealing that he is only just now seeing what everyone is thinking.

The trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has officially dropped, and with it came an outpouring of reaction, theories, and just pure excitement.

Spider-Man actor Tom Holland posted to his Instagram story, thanking the world for all of their support and teasing that this is just the beginning.

According to Holland, he was "flying for the last 10 hours," so he "[hadn't] been able to see the reactions and how excited everyone is." The 25-year old actor also teased fans about how the trailer "is just the tip of the iceberg. You have no idea what else is to come:"

“Hey everyone, what’s up… So I’m at… coming for my bags, I’m at the airport. I’ve been flying for the last 10 hours, so I actually didn’t post the trailer. My brother Harry did, so I haven’t been able to see the reactions and how excited everyone is and then I’ve just turned my phone on and my phone has gone mental. The love and support you guys have shown for the film is so exciting. Honestly, that is just the tip of the iceberg. You have no idea what else is to come. I’m so excited to share more with you and it feels so good, it feels so good to be back with Spider-Man to be showing you trailers, to be having films coming out. This is so exciting, so yeah I love you all, thank you for the support and enjoy the trailer.”

THE SPIDER-MAN EXCITEMENT

It truly is crazy to see Holland hinting that the film is indeed going to be bringing in villains from nearly all the previous Spider-Man films. No one would have thought that something like this would have ever happened—yet here it is.

Sony has always wanted the Sinister Six in one form or another. Admittedly, this is a brilliant way to do it; using villains that audiences already know and have connected with saves a lot of leg work, and lets them all share the screen without fighting for on-screen development.

With the villains being revealed, now it's Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's turn to take the stage. While their appearances are still a rumor, it's almost certainly now confirmed given what the first teaser trailer showed audiences. The real question is if fans will have to wait until the movie for confirmation, or if Sony will utilize them in marketing before the film's premiere.

Only time will tell, but everyone will know for sure by the time the movie rolls around on December 17 later this year.
