Many would agree that Spider-Man: No Way Home is the most anticipated Marvel movie of 2021.

The upcoming threequel is directed by Jon Watts, and it will feature the return of Tom Holland's web-slinging hero. No Way Home is set to address the ramifications of Peter Parker's secret identity being revealed to the rest of the world, and it will do so in a unique fashion.

In the past months, casting reports previously teased that the Multiverse would be involved in sorting out Peter's latest identity crisis, mainly due to the rumored arrival of past Spider-Man villains like Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx's Electro. The alternate reality plot point was further amplified because of Doctor Strange's reported addition to the film

No Way Home's first trailer transformed some of the rumors into confirmations, namely Strange's involvement and Molina's Marvel return. Despite that, there are still many questions about the film's narrative and rumored casting additions.

As No Way Home's marketing enters its home run, this could mean that more secrets will be unveiled. Now, it looks like one country will be the first in line to know the film's massive spoilers.

Sony, via Digital Spy, confirmed that Spider-Man: No Way Home will premiere in the United Kingdom on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. This means that U.K. fans will get to see the highly-anticipated threequel two days ahead of the United States and most territories worldwide.

U.K. Fans Receive Early Spider-Man Treat

It looks like No Way Home spoilers will likely arrive early online due to this confirmation. The excitement surrounding the film could make fans post their spoiler-heavy reactions online, thus spelling bad news for the United States and the rest of the world.

Still, one way to avoid spoilers is to stay away from social media. Dedicated fans who don't want to know No Way Home's secrets could use the mute feature on Twitter and Facebook to be safe from the big reveals.

The early U.K. release has been the norm for Marvel Studios when it comes to international territories. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously shared the reasoning behind this approach, saying that many countries have holidays around the end of April, which is the usual time where the studio kicks off its film slate during the pre-pandemic era.

Given that No Way Home has a December release, it seems that the same deal was already in place for the United Kingdom, and it's possible that the pandemic may have played a role in the decision as well.

Despite a two-day headstart, there are still countries such as the Philippines and Japan that will experience a delayed No Way Home release, with both slated to premiere the film in January 2022.

Whatever the case, fans will need to find ways to evade spoilers as No Way Home's premiere inches closer.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will premiere in the United States on December 17, 2021.
