Peter Parker has a pretty memorable slate of supporting characters that have all impacted the live-action iterations of Spider-Man in different ways, though no one has grounded Peter's life more than his Homecoming best friend, Ned Leeds.

Played by actor Jacob Batalon, Ned Leeds had a geniune friendship to Peter, as they both geeked out over superheroes, built Lego Death Stars, and occasionally saved the world together. And with Leeds set to return for the upcoming Spider-Man 3 , there's no telling what sorts of adventures the character will get brought into next.

Spider-Man: Far From Home actor Jacob Batalon has taken to Instgram in order to reveal his recent weight loss.

Batalon excitedly writes in his caption that he will be "vibin all day," and he also calls out those who have been constantly commenting on the actor's previous appearance, saying "while I appreciate the concern, people can stop telling me to lose weight now."

Spider-Man 3 is set to begin production very soon , and it looks as if Jacob Batalon will be bringing his new look to the character of Ned Leeds for the franchise's third film. Though, the topic may more than likely just receive a simple one-line explanation of a time jump in the film, especially given that Spider-Man will definitely have a lot more to worry about .

Eternals actor Kumail Nanjiani similarly posted a slimmer body reveal to his Instagram a few months ago, wherein the actor spoke at length about his personal transformation and how having the time, money, and resources from working on a Marvel movie immensely help with the process. With Batalon publicly revealing his own weight loss on social media, the actor is also clearly proud of the hard work he's taken to get to where he's at as well.

With Jamie Foxx's Electro and Doctor Strange joining the Spider-Man threequel, it will be incredibly exciting to see just where Ned Leeds will fit into it all. As Spider-Man's "man in the chair," the revelation of Peter Parker's secret identity at the end of Far From Home will undoubtedly factor into Ned's life as well. Now that the web-slinger may be facing a slew of inter-dimensional threats, Peter will need the aid of his trusted friends more than ever.
