While Marvel Studios is a couple of weeks away from returning to the big screen, the MCU has plenty of thrilling action coming in its first Disney+ series of 2022 - Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight. Bringing the MCU's first new character to lead the way in his own streaming series, this story is already making its mark with MCU fans and with the character's influence on other media.

When media members first reviewed the show ahead of its March 30 debut, the first four episodes were sent out for those lucky few. Now, everybody in the Marvel fandom is on an even playing field with Episodes 5 and 6 still over the horizon. This has all led to heavy anticipation building for the end of Marc Spector's first solo adventure.

Even with plenty of shocking reveals over the last four weeks, rumors and reports have teased an ending in the last two episodes that will blow fans' minds, although there is no way to tell how that will happen. Now, some of the show's leading crew members are laying out another tease for what viewers are in for with those next two entries.

TV Line spoke with Moon Knight executive producer Grant Curtis about the show's last two episodes on Disney+, which begin airing on April 27 and May 4.

In simple terms, Curtis shared that Episodes 5 and 6 of Moon Knight "are going to blow your mind." He also spoke about how there is a great deal of the character's history that wasn't told in the first four weeks, something that is said to please comics fans when it debuts:

“There’s a whole world of Moon Knight’s history that you have not been able to watch in those first four episodes that you will in the last two. Big fans of the comics who do know his history are going to be happy.”

Co-director Justin Benson also looked ahead to how people will react once Episode 5 premieres, describing the week ahead as "very exciting:"

“We’re most excited to see how people react after Episode 4 but before Episode 5. That’s going to be a very exciting week.”

Additionally, co-director Aaron Moorhead warned fans that they will be "surprised" by everything coming in the last two episodes, even more so than in Episode 4, during a chat with Entertainment Weekly. Even admitting that it sounds like a promo ad, he promised that it will be worth the wait:

"I think if you were surprised by episode 4, get ready to be surprised again by episodes 5 and 6. I know it just sounds like a nice little tag, but I promise you that's actually the case."

Moon Knight Set to Blow Minds

WARNING: The rest of this article contains spoilers for Episode 4 of Moon Knight.

With each passing week, Moon Knight has delivered something that left fans wondering how much crazier this story could get. After Episode 4 put Marc and Steven together in a mental hospital and in front of a giant walking hippopotamus/Egyptian goddess, what else could viewers possibly be in for?

Of course, just based on where Episode 4 ended. Marc and his associates still have plenty of work to do to resolve the plot.

The Moon God Khonshu is still imprisoned in stone, leaving Marc without the power to become Moon Knight, and there's the difficult situation he's in where he's currently dead after Arthur Harrow shot him. The mid-season trailer for the show also teased more screen time with the hero in the "mental institution" before he does battle with Harrow on an undisclosed rooftop.

Considering what the show's producer and directors shared in their quotes, it's safe to say that nobody has any idea of what's actually coming in this new MCU outing.

The first four episodes of Moon Knight are available to stream on Disney+.
