Secret Invasion Disney+: New Marvel Rumor Reveals Spoilery Details on Major Characters

Secret Invasion Disney Plus Show, Nicky Fury, Skrulls

It's safe to say that Disney+ has been quite the asset to Marvel Studios. Their very first show, WandaVision , went on to win several Emmy's , and Loki proceeded to make some of the biggest moves in the MCU since Avengers: Endgame .

These new streaming shows are opening up so many new story opportunities; frankly, it may seem overwhelming at times. This year's last show will be Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye , and then 2022 will bring series like Ms. Marvel , She-Hulk , and Moon Knight ––among many other projects.

One of those other shows is Secret Invasion . The series, which stars Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn's Talos, is set to adapt the famous comic book storyline where the shape-shifting alien race of the Skrulls secretly invade Earth, unbeknownst to the entire planet.

Not much is known about the show itself, but what is known is more than a few new faces have joined in on the fun. However, none of them have official characters attached just yet.

Thanks to a new report, fans may now finally learn the identity of two of these upcoming characters.

Secret Invasion Details Revealed

Secret Invasion Ben Adir

Thanks to Murphy's Multiverse , brand-new details may have emerged about the upcoming Disney+ show Secret Invasion .

More specifically, most of the information is in regards to Kingsley Ben-Adir's character. As many guessed, it would seem that he is rumored to be playing a Skrull who will be up against Nick Fury and Talos throughout the series' six episodes.

Furthermore, Murphy's Multiverse revealed that Ben-Adir's Skrull has a long history with Ben Mendelsohn's Talos.

In the MCU, prior to the destruction of the Skrulls' home world of Skrullos, Talos was working alongside Kree scientist Mar-Vell to find refuge for a group of Skrulls––something which Captain Marvel revealed. With the general hatred that the Skrull's have for the Kree in general, Ben-Adir's character may not be overtly fond of Talos' choice of bedfellows.

The site clarified that Marvel Studios is working to keep Ben-Adir's character information a secret. Though, as Murphy's Multiverse pointed out, the fact that he has a long history with Talos may reveal who he is playing.

When Secret Invasion airs, it will have been at least 30 years since the destruction of Talos' Skrull home world In that time, however, it's likely that other surviving groups of the shape-shifting race found new refuge––and for whatever reason, readied their invasion of Earth.

Murphy's Multiverse suggested two options as to who Ben-Adir's character may be, both of which are pure speculation on their part. The first is Skrull spy Paibok, who is a Skrullian military captain in the comics. The bigger option, which would be a massive play on Marvel's part, would be one of the most famous Skrull's in the comics: Kl'rt, otherwise known as the Super Skrull.

Killian Scott is another new face who has joined the fray, one whom the website revealed will be joining Ben-Adir's Skrull as they butt heads with Fury and Talos. Scott's character identity is also not known, but they speculated that he could be bringing to life Klrr, another well known Skrull from the comics.

Secret Invasion Fleshes Out Its Skrulls

With how little information there has been for Secret Invasion , it's refreshing to have some details finally––even if they are just rumors, and not confirmed by Marvel Studios themselves.

While it's great that Ben-Adir and Killian Scott's roles have some details behind them, there are still endless others who remain a mystery; names such as Emilia Clarke, Olivia Coleman, or Christopher McDonald .

As for when fans will finally be able to watch the show, well, even that's a secret. Production on the project has started , which means a late 2022 premiere could be a safe bet. So it's going to be quite a long wait before the world can see the spy espionage that Marvel Studios has in store for the world.
