Hailee Steinfeld Hawkeye

Fans were given their first look at Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop in December as she was scrambling onto a subway with Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton . All Steinfeld had with her was a dingy trench coat, an adorable dog, and her own bow. It wasn't until later on that fans were treated to pics of the young actress wearing what seems to be Bishop's superhero costume for the upcoming Hawkeye show .

More set photos showed Steinfeld involved in the action, such as falling off a building , only to be saved by tacky Christmas lights. The latest photos on set have finally shown fans Bishop performing archery with some updated equipment.

NEW BOW AND ATTITUDE FOR BISHOP

New set photos for Hawkeye have been released by Just Jared showing Hailee Steinfeld suited up in her superhero attire, wielding a new bow, and performing in front of a blue screen in the middle of a street at night in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jeremy Renner was also seen on set having a slack-jawed reaction to whatever Kate Bishop did with that bow.

BLUE SCREEN BLUES

Whatever it was that Kate Bishop did in this scene was impressive enough that it required Steinfeld to stand in front of a blue screen, and Barton's reaction seems to agree with this. So it's likely that something requiring the use of compositing happens behind her in this scene after firing her new bow.

There's a lot of missing context to this scene that just the outlet doesn't explain, but Steinfeld is actually aiming downwards on closer inspection. Is she aiming at someone on the ground? Or maybe the blue screen is meant to make it look like Bishop is firing from a higher elevation, perhaps from a rooftop?

Regardless of the context, it'll be exciting to see Steinfeld pulling off the same insane shoots that Barton has done in previous MCU films.
