It director Andy Muschietti's Flashpoint adaptation is slated to hit theaters November 2022 as the DC multiverse is finally taken to the big screen. As the Scarlet Speedster hops between universes, both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton are set to reprise their past roles as Batman while Sasha Calle will make her debut as Supergirl.
After several months of filming indoors, The Flash has finally taken its production to the streets of London with set photos beginning to surface from the blockbuster. With filming finally in the public eye in front of St Paul's Cathedral, the first looks at several key characters including Keaton's Bruce Wayne and Calle's Supergirl have finally been revealed.
As Ezra Miller makes his long-awaited return as the Flash, it's already been revealed that his speedster suit will see some major changes in the 2022 film, and it seems the costume will also see the addition of a classic DC Comics feature.
THE FLASH SET PHOTOS TEASE COSTUME RING
Photos captured by fans on the set of The Flash in front of St. Paul's Cathedral, posted by Twitter user @therealsupses, in London have revealed a new look at Ezra Miller suited and booted as Barry Allen, equipped with the iconic Flash ring the speedster commonly wears in DC Comics:

In DC Comics and other live-action takes on the character, Barry Allen and other speedsters often hold compacted versions of their suits within rings, allowing them to deploy them quickly and suit up at super-speed.
While the Flash's costume rings have previously appeared in live-action on the CW by Grant Gustin's hero and other speedsters, Ezra Miller's version of the character has yet to don one in the high-budget cinematic universe.
Assuming this isn't just a clever Easter egg to the character's history, The Flash seems set to feature some neat suit-up sequences.
FLASH, SUPERGIRL AND BATMAN ACTION IN LONDON
The Flash has been filming scenes in front of St. Paul's Cathedral for several days now, potentially suggesting a major sequence is in the works. Ezra Miller's Barry Allen, Kiersey Clemons' Iris West, Sasha Calle's Supergirl, and Michael Keaton's Bruce Wayne have all been spotted in front of the London landmark which will double for Central City in the DC blockbuster.
As of now, Calle's Kryptonian hero is the only character who has been spotted in their superhuman attire, however, the reveal of The Flash's iconic costume ring may suggest Miller will suit up soon too. If this is the case, fans can possibly look forward to the first images of the speedster's new suit in action within the next few days.
While the Andy Muschietti-directed film will adapt the iconic Flashpoint comic arc, it remains unclear who the lead antagonist of the film will be. With The Flash, Supergirl, and two Batmen all expected to get in on the action, Barry Allen will certainly have plenty of help taking on whatever threats the multiverse may hold for him.
The Flash will hit theaters on November 4, 2022.
