Warner Bros. is only a couple of months away from bringing back the canon DC Extended Universe, for which the next movie is James Gunn's The Suicide Squad in theaters and on HBO Max in August. After this comes as 2021's only canon DC movie, 2022 kick off in exciting fashion with Matt Reeves' The Batman debuting on March 4.
The only footage revealed thus far has been from the DC FanDome trailer in August, which was only able to utilize a small portion of the movie that had been shot. Without more trailers, fans have had to depend on image leaks to get a peek into the film, most of them centered around Robert Pattinson's new take on the Caped Crusader.
The most recent leak teased Pattinson wielding a Batarang, which should hopefully see some action in the DC's latest solo Batman movie. Now, fans have a better look at one of the suits he will rock as well.
ROBERT PATTINSON'S BATMAN ON DISPLAY
A leak from Reddit offered one of the most detailed promotional images yet of Robert Pattinson's Caped Crusader suit from The Batman, which will premiere in theaters in March 2022. This picture comes from the cover of the recently leaked calendar featuring multiple images from the Warner Bros. movie.
BATTINSON IN ALL HIS GLORY
This image may not reveal any specific plot points from the DCEU's 11th outing, but it does give fans an impressive look at this newer, younger version of the Dark Knight.
Pattinson is standing under just a sliver of light fully decked out in the cape and cowl, although the area surrounding him is completely devoid of any furniture or people. The picture showcases just how intimidating the hero will be even early in his crime-fighting career.
The wait now continues for more footage to come from this exciting adventure, especially with so many villains coming into play in Pattinson's Gotham City. Even with very few story details to go on at the moment, hype is slowly building for Batman to make a glorious return to the big screen within the DCEU.
The Batman will release in theaters on March 4, 2022.
