While Marvel Studios has an increasingly bright future ahead with Phase 4 of the MCU, there's always an opportunity to look back on the franchise's past to celebrate what came in the Infinity Saga. Fans do this by watching past Avengers team-up films and other solo outings on Disney+ while also looking out for exciting collectible items like Funko Pop! figures to add to their memorabilia collections.

The more recent Funkos have primarily focused on upcoming Phase 4 projects, including figurines for Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Funko Fair 2022 also announced plans for a unique set paying tribute to an iconic moment in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, which brought the Guardians of the Galaxy into play next to Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Specifically, fans got a look at a Funko diorama set that brought all six Guardians together to replicate their first Infinity War scene aboard the Benatar in space. Now, a couple of months after that set first became partially available, the latest addition completes a full half of the team of galactic misfits in this set.

Drax Joins Infinity War Walmart Funko Exclusive

Walmart opened preorders for a new bobblehead Funko Pop! figurine of Drax the Destroyer from Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War.

This figurine features Dave Bautista's Drax with his eyes nearly shut as he sits in his seat aboard the Benatar, not making any attempt to stay awake as the team listens to "Rubberband Man." The figurine comes complete with a base that connects to other pieces in the set in this Walmart exclusive collection.

Directly behind Drax is Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, who leads the way in singing "Rubberband Man," as he and the Guardians respond to the distress signal sent out from the Asgardians' ship.

At the very back of the ship is Pom Klementieff's Mantis, whose green streaks stand out in her black hair as she sits calmly for the ride.

Funko's Twitter account also shared an image of the full set, which features Drax, Star-Lord, and Mantis sitting on the left side of the Benatar's cockpit, noting how Drax is the third addition to the connecting set. There are three hidden figures on the other side, which represent Gamora, Rocket, and Adolescent Groot.

The Drax figurine is available for $29.96 USD and will begin shipping out to customers in October.

Funko Celebrates Guardians in Infinity War

This scene marked a historic moment in MCU history as the Guardians of the Galaxy made their first appearance in an Avengers crossover movie event. While the team had plenty of exciting moments in the story on Titan and in Wakanda, their first scene is one that still stands out in fans' minds nearly four years later.

With the first part of this set having been announced in February, it will likely be a few more months until the figures for Gamora, Rocket, and Groot make their way into the public eye. Fans can expect these figures to have their own share of entertainment value, especially now since Drax's comes with his eyes almost completely closed as he sleeps and snores.

This set is also the third of its kind in MCU history after the Avengers' first moment assembling in The Avengers and their shawarma scene from the very end of that same film. While there are certainly other key moments in Marvel Studios' moves that could earn this treatment, even in the rest of Avengers: Infinity War, it's the Guardians' time to enjoy the spotlight in their own team-up moment.

Avengers: Infinity War is available to stream on Disney+.
