As Phase 4 of the MCU rolls on, with Loki debuting to much fanfare on Disney+, other key projects are entering various stages of production.

Significant among these is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, with its story looking to relate back to the time-travel shenanigans of Loki. A writer on the project, Jeff Loveness, even noted its similarity to the sci-fi series Rick and Morty, which also deals with matters of time.

While little is known about the project, filming is in its early stages with leading star Paul Rudd confirming his presence on location in London.

The scant details available about the film largely relate to the cast of characters. Jonathan Majors is set to join the MCU as the villainous Kang the Conqueror, while a tease from actress Evangeline Lilly points towards a possible return for Corey Stoll's Yellowjacket.

While fans wait in eager anticipation for information about the project, small production details have leaked out, including a specific location...

MARVEL'S SECRET SHOOT

According to an article from KCBS radio, two days' worth of secret shooting for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was completed in San Francisco during the weekend of June 19-20.

The focus was on San Francisco's Central police station, including interior and exterior shots of the building. According to the production application where the information originated from, the cast of the film was "not present but in scenes."

The location itself can be seen below.

ANT-MAN UNDER ARREST?

While not extremely telling, this minor shoot does fit with what fans currently know about the Ant-Man threequel. News recently leaked that the project was set to involve the SFPD in some capacity, as a council meeting passed a resolution allowing the use of the force's insignia.

Additionally, with Paul Rudd's character based in San Francisco and often finding himself on the wrong side of the law, it's not altogether surprising that a police station would crop up in the film. How much of a role the police will play is still unclear, especially as the project seems like it's setting its sights on something more extraordinary.

However, the secret nature of the shoot is interesting, perhaps indicating that something more important is at work here.

With production underway, other minor teases like this will likely seep out, helping excited fans piece together information about the otherwise mysterious film.
