Thor: Love and Thunder will bring back Chris Hemsworth's titular Asgardian alongside old and new allies, such as Korg, Miek, Tessa Thompson's King Valkyrie, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the returning Jane Foster as Mighty Thor. All of them are expected to duke it out against a powerful villain named Gorr the God Butcher, with Christian Bale portraying the character on screen.

Marketing has already begun for Love and Thunder, with the first official trailer showing fresh looks at Thor, Valkryie, and Mighty Thor. However, a notable omission is the film's villain, Gorr. Despite that, the villain's minions are spotted in the trailer, and they appear to resemble Venom.

Now, a new batch of promo images for the movie further teased Gorr's connection to the symbiote.

Gorr's Potential Connection to Venom's Symbiote

This latest batch of promotional art for Thor: Love and Thunder offers a comprehensive preview of what's to come in the Chris Hemsworth-led sequel.

It is unknown if Gorr will have a connection to Venom, considering that the only tie to the symbiote was during No Way Home's post-credits scene. However, this could be Marvel Studios' way of teasing the symbiote's imminent arrival.

Meanwhile, New Asgard's key role in Love and Thunder as a tourist attraction could present trouble since it portrays the wrong idea of welcoming literally everyone into the Asgardians' new home. Gorr could disguise himself as a civilian to attack the Asgardians.

Still, it's good to know that New Asgard has evolved into something more, especially after everything the Thor ensemble has been through from Thor: Ragnarok to Avengers: Infinity War

Miek now has an official pronoun as well, with Marvel referencing the alien as a "she." Based on the trailer, it seems that Miek has been assigned to be King Valkyrie's secretary.

A good chunk of Love and Thunder's promotion is mainly focused on Thor's team, consisting of Mighty Thor, Korg, and King Valkyrie. This means that these four heroes will be the ones to travel across different realms to chase down Gorr and put an end to his wrath.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to premiere in theaters on July 8.
