Spider-Man: No Way Home has been dominating the box office in the past weeks, and many feel that one of the reasons behind its stellar performance is Tom Holland's impressive portrayal in the movie. The MCU threequel has been breaking records ever since its premiere, and based on what's being reported, it's currently showing no signs of slowing down at the box office.

In the film, Peter essentially lost everything. Marisa Tomei's Aunt May died in his arms, while Ned and MJ forgot that he ever existed in their lives. In the end, Peter is left all alone to face a new adventure without his allies.

Holland's Marvel future has been set in stone based on several comments from Sony higher-ups. Former Sony executive Amy Pascal confirmed that the studio is already working with Marvel Studios on Spider-Man 4 within the MCU while also teasing that future Spidey films will attempt to surpass No Way Home's "quality and emotion," but the focus will not be on eclipsing "spectacle."

Now, it's Holland's turn to share his excitement about his Spider-Man future in the MCU.

Spider-Man star Tom Holland shared a heartfelt speech while acknowledging the three Golden Tomatoes awards for Spider-Man: No Way Home in a new video.

In the video on Twitter, Holland thanked the fans and critics who have "shown so much love and respect" for their movies while also teasing the prospect of multiple sequels "again and again and again" now that No Way Home has released:

"Guys, Spider-Man: No Way Home has received three Golden Tomatoes, so I just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf of everyone from Sony and Marvel, the critics, the fans who have shown so much love and respect and support for our movies. It means the world and hopefully, we can do it again and again and again. But thank you, thank you, thank you. And we'll see you soon."

What's Next for Peter Parker?

Tom Holland's latest comments are a promising sign for Marvel Studios, Sony, and the fans.

While No Way Home's success cemented Holland's Marvel future, many would agree that the actor's enthusiasm about suiting up for the future is a fascinating sight to see. It's no secret that Holland is passionate about his Spider-Man role, and this new video further solidifies that claim.

In previous interviews, Holland has been playing it safe when it comes to the topic of his Marvel future. The MCU veteran previously shared his reaction to Peter's reported new trilogy, saying that it spells "very exciting things"  and a "bright future ahead," but he admits that "[doesn’t] know what those things are."

The actor's past comments might fall into the category of not spoiling too much about his future, but his recent remark suggests that he couldn't help but share his excitement about suiting up once again as the friendly neighborhood hero.

No Way Home's brutal ending presented a fresh start for Holland's Peter Parker as if the Homecoming trilogy acted as his three-part origin story in the MCU. Now that it's out of the way, the next set of stories seems poised to showcase Holland's Spider-Man in a situation like never before, which is a hero without the fancy gadgets and moral support from his peers and the love of his life.

This story beat is what makes Spider-Man 4 (and the rest of its sequels) exciting since no one knows what to expect. Aside from the long wishlist of villains fans want to see, it will be interesting to find out how Peter will adjust to his newfound situation.

Holland shared that he is glad that his days as "Spider-Boy" are already behind him, and he teased that he is the full-fledged Spider-Man of the MCU when fans next see him in a future project.
