Spider-Man: No Way Home is still one of the hottest topics of the movie community thanks to the way it changed the game for the MCU upon its release. Although it was snubbed for any major awards, it still stands as one of the best-reviewed movies of the era and managed to become the sixth-highest grossing movie of all time.
Now, fans eagerly await the day that No Way Home becomes available for home viewing, which will certainly have many clamoring to have the adventure available to watch at any time. With 148 minutes of action that feature some of the biggest moments in any MCU movie to date, it seems clear that this will be a movie nobody forgets anytime soon.
However, with the digital release seemingly getting closer for Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, there have been conflicting reports on what specific day fans can expect it to drop.
Starz is said to host the threequel sometime in August, and other reports indicated that the MCU's last 2021 film would be available for purchase by February 28. Now, yet another report is indicating yet another delay for No Way Home's in-home release, which pushes it even further away than previously expected once again.
Spider-Man: No Way Home's Digital Release Pushed Back
The Microsoft Store app, as pointed out by Reddit user u/Gillzter10, revealed that the digital release of Spider-Man: No Way Home was delayed once again.
The film is now set to be available for digital purchase on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 12:01 am Pacific Standard Time. Included with the release will be the previously reported bonus features.
One More Delay for Spider-Man
Although fans already experienced the frustration of near-constant delays for Phase 4's theatrical releases, this round of delays comes as a new level of irritation for the Spider-Man threequel's home release.
Having been released two months ago, the timing for No Way Home's release in-home should be coming close to this time. However, there seem to be new and conflicting updates regarding exactly when that will happen, which continues to be the case with this indication that the movie won't come until the end of March.
While some services already have pre-orders open, fans will likely just have to wait to see exactly when the movie truly becomes available, particularly with how popular it still is amongst fans. Whenever that day comes, whether it be March 22 or another date, the threequel is sure to fly off the proverbial shelves just as tickets did when it first debuted on the big screen.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently playing in theaters and will be available for home release on March 22, 2022.
