Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the highly-anticipated films of 2021, as evidenced by its record-breaking first trailer and the continued chatter about the movie on social media.

Directed by Jon Watts, the upcoming threequel will feature the return of Tom Holland's Peter Parker alongside franchise mainstays Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Jon Favreau. It has been confirmed to showcase the aftermath of Spider-Man: Far From Home, exploring the ramifications of Peter's identity being revealed to the world.

In the months leading to the film's first trailer, a plethora of rumors had emerged online, and a good chunk of them revolved around the movie's cast. From Jamie Foxx's reported casting to Alfred Molina's confirmed involvement, it gradually became clear that No Way Home is a multiverse affair that would feature the comebacks of previous villains from past Spider-Man franchises.

Not only that, but it was also heavily rumored that No Way Home would feature Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's previous iterations of the web-slinger.

The first trailer already showed a glimpse of the threequel's jam-packed storyline, and it appears that there are more secrets that have yet to be unraveled.

With so many moving pieces in its storyline, a new rumor has shed some light on how everything will fit in the narrative.

Spider-Man: No Way Home's Runtime Reportedly Revealed

Movie insider Daniel Richtman shared that Spider-Man: No Way Home's runtime is reportedly around 2 hours and 30 minutes.

This length fits the previously reported fill-in runtime of the film from Cineworld, which is also 150 minutes.

No Way Home the Longest Spider-Man Film Ever?

While fans can take this rumor with a grain of salt, many would agree that Spider-Man: No Way Home's rumored runtime makes sense, especially considering the collection of characters that the threequel could feature in its story.

Given that this runtime is still subject to change, No Way Home is poised to become the longest Spider-Man film ever. This accolade seems fitting since the threequel appears to be a celebration of all things Spider-Man.

As it stands, No Way Home is one minute longer than Avengers: Infinity War, with the ensemble film clocking in at 2 hours and 29 minutes. The Tom Holland-led threequel would become the third-longest Marvel Studios film if the length two-and-a-half-hour estimate proves true, following Avengers: Endgame's 3 hours and 1 minute and Eternals' 2 hours and 36 minutes

The common denominator among the aforementioned films is that they are all ensemble films, meaning that No Way Home could follow the same path. This development could cement the idea that the threequel would gather all these past Spider-Man villains and feature previous versions of the web-slinging hero.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to premiere in theaters on December 17, 2021.
