Recaps & Reviews - Disney+ is about to drop us two glorious seasons of original programming, with The Mandalorian Season 2 and WandaVision on the way in the coming weeks. Every week, we will hop on the podcast and give our thoughts on each episode in an after show format. When a WandaVision episode inevitably blows your mind, The Direct Podcast is the place to be the next day.
Drafts - Liam and Matt are posed with a topic (favorite MCU costumes, best Star Wars vehicles, assembling their dream Justice League) and will draft out teams of five starters, with three coming off the bench. Then, we want to hear from you on how we did!
Pitch It! - We've seen some wacky movies within the realms of Marvel, DC, and Star Wars, but what happens when the pieces are chosen at random? How does a Quentin Tarantino directed Marvel western look? What about a Leonardo DiCaprio-led Batman movie? James Gunn directing a Star Wars space opera? We'll draw directors, universes, and actors at random, and Pitch It!
Lists - TheDirect.com is home to many rich and in-depth list articles. We will take these lists, break them down point by point, and even bring the writer on to give their commentary on it!
Fancasts - While all three of these universes have decades worth of on-screen source material, there are still hundreds of characters yet to make their way to the big screen. Who should play Admiral Thrawne in a live-action Star Wars project? Are John Krasinski and Emily Blunt the perfect Reed Richards and Sue Storm, or are there better options? Who should star alongside Robert Pattinson as Robin?
Retrospectives - There are decades worth of source material from these universes, and new ways to watch these movies as the years go on. What missed elements from Infinity War are noticed knowing how Endgame plays out? Were there any loose ends in The Force Awakens that never got tied up in The Rise of Skywalker ? How will Batman v. Superman change once we see Zack Snyder's completed vision of Justice League ?
Debates - Who is the best on-screen Batman? Team Cap or Team Tony? Is The Rise of Skywalker a fitting conclusion to the Skywalker saga? There are hundreds of polarizing questions to tackle, and we will hash it on live on the air until there's a conclusive winner.
