After both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man franchises saw the wall-crawler standing alone in his own stories, Sony's deal with Marvel Studios has allowed Tom Holland's take on the character to finally interact with other heroes. Spider-Man: Homecoming famously steered close to the Iron Man franchise as Robert Downey Jr's armored Avenger mentored the young hero as he took on a villain fueled with hatred towards Tony Stark in Michael Keaton's Vulture.

With the climax of Homecoming, Vulture and his crew attempted to steal from a plane packed with inventory from Avengers Tower which had recently been sold to an unknown buyer. Over four years later, the identity of Avengers Tower's mysterious new owner has yet to be revealed with Hawkeye having recently made reference to the sale.

As fans continue to speculate who bought the former Avengers base, several key Marvel actors have reacted to the new owners.

Spider-Man Cast Reacts to Avengers Tower Sale

During a recent interview with ComicBook.com, MJ actress Zendaya reacted to Tom Holland's reveal that he already knows who bought Avengers Tower from Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

When Brandon Davis asked who took over ownership of the iconic building, Holland confirmed "[he does] know who bought Avengers Tower" after initially forgetting the team's former base of operations was ever sold:

"Who did buy Avengers Tower? Oh yeah, that's right they sold Avengers Tower. Oh, actually I do know who bought Avengers Tower, I do know."

However, Holland's co-stars were quick to prevent the British actor's infamous spoiling antics as Zendaya covered his mouth while Ned actor Jacob Batalon simply asked him to "say nothing, goodness gracious."

Whether the actress is similarly in-on the secrets behind Avengers Tower is unclear, but she was certainly quick to silence Holland.

From the look on Holland's face, it looks as if the spoiler-prone interviewee may have been close to saying something he shouldn't have.

So Who Bought Avengers Tower?

Back in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, Happy Hogan revealed Tony Stark had sold Avengers Tower to an unknown buyer who, four years later, has yet to be revealed. With The Blip pushing the MCU timeline forward several years, roughly seven years have now passed since the sale

The sale was recently referenced for the first time in several years with the early episodes of Hawkeye as Clint Barton told Kate Bishop that Tony had sold the tower years ago. Given the recent discussion around the purchase, both in-universe and in the real world from cast and crew, perhaps the long-awaited buyer reveal may be right around the corner.

Since Holland had initially forgotten who bought the tower, it seems almost certain the reveal won't be coming in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Although, since the Spider-Man star has already been told the buyer's identity, it'll likely come in an upcoming project.

So far, the top candidates for the mysterious new owner include Norman Osborn, The Fantastic Four, Kingpin, or possibly even Kang the Conqueror. Should one of these guesses prove accurate, projects such as Fantastic 4Hawkeye, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania are the top contenders for the reveal.

Whatever the case, it's fortunate for Marvel Studios that Zendaya and Batalon were there to prevent Holland's classic spoiler-y antics, but less fortunate for fans who have been desperately awaiting answers for several years now.
