Marvel Studios completed its impressive run of content releases in 2021 with the final episode of Hawkeye on Disney+, premiering just in time for this year's Christmas day. Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop excelled in their first solo adventure as they uncovered a terrifying criminal underworld along with the musings of Yelena Belova and the ever-elusive Wilson Fisk.
As has been the case in all of Marvel Studios' Disney+ series to date, Hawkeye provided a great deal of depth to its leading characters' personalities and backstories alike. This was evident in the opening scene of the series, which showed Kate Bishop's inspiration to become a hero during The Avengers' Battle of New York, as well as in the show's season finale, which gave more details on how Clint Barton made some of his incredible trick arrows.
Since the season concluded, fans have gotten hints of some scenes and information that didn't make the final cut, including an alternate post-credits stinger that revealed Kingpin's fate. Now, Marvel has shared a new look into a little bit of a lesser-stakes moment from later in the series.
Kate and Clint Restock on Supplies
In a still photo from a deleted scene in Hawkeye released by Marvel, Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton and Hailee Steifeld's Kate Bishop are seen in what looks like a sporting good store. In their hands are dozens of arrow shafts and other supplies, likely to be used for making more trick arrows during the show's sixth episode.
"We Need a Ton of Gear."
Clint Barton is well known for having a plethora of, as he called them in Episode 6, "way-too-dangerous trick arrows" that he's used in battle for most of the last decade. Despite his best efforts to deny their existence, trick arrows were on full display in Episode 3's car chase opposite Alaqua Cox's Echo and the Tracksuit Mafia. These arrows came back into play in a big way in Hawkeye's final episode, particularly with Clint and Kate both in need of plenty of new gear to prepare for the big final battle against Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk.
The image features the two wearing the same outfits as they wore in Episode 6's early scenes, meaning this was something cut from the moments when the new MCU duo developed their exciting new arsenal of trick arrows. From Pym Tech to exploding arrows and everything in between, Clint and Kate bonded in a big way over developing impressive tech-filled arrowheads to bring into battle against the Tracksuit Mafia.
All six episodes of Hawkeye are now available to stream on Disney+.
