Warning - This article contains spoilers from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's finale.
Through five episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the "will he, won't he" question of Sam Wilson wielding the shield has dominated conversation.
Episode 5 saw Sam finally embrace the Captain America mantle after an uncomfortable but necessary dialogue with Carl Lumbly's Isaiah Bradley. After weeks of deliberation, Cap's left-hand man finally took the vibranium shield to the Wilson family backyard where he began training.
The episode concluded with a shot of Sam opening Bucky's Wakandan gift box, and while audiences did not get to see what was inside, many have speculated it could be a wardrobe upgrade.

The latest leaked TV spot for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showcases repeated shots of Wyatt Russell's John Walker and Erin Kellyman's Karli Morgenthau before concluding with a blink-and-you'll-miss-it fly-by of Anthony Mackie's Falcon soaring above New York City in red, white, and blue.
The spot also includes the title cards "ALL EPISODES NOW STREAMING," indicating that this was a TV spot not meant to be released until after the finale airs on April 23.

FINALE FLY-BY FOR SAM WILSON AS CAPTAIN AMERICA
Sam’s Captain America suit has been expected for months, but this footage reassures one big question: he’s keeping the wings.
A big moment in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s fifth episode saw Sam tell Joaquin Torres to “keep” his broken flight suit as he elected to take the shield with him back to Louisiana. Knowing Torres takes the Falcon mantle on the page, it was unclear if the wings would become exclusive to him. Regardless, the comic iteration of Sam Wilson’s Captain America combines the shield with his famous wings, and this footage makes clear that the live-action version intends to follow suit.
Aside from the money shot of the red, white, and blue fly-by, this brief footage hints at Sharon Carter's diplomatic presence in the finale. Agent 13 rocks a ponytail and pantsuit, indicating she'll be up to more behind-the-scenes scheming rather than knocking henchmen with that baton.
As for the big Manhattan battle, it looks like a strong aerial conflict can be expected. Falcon flies behind a helicopter that unloads a barrage of bullets, and while it's unclear if the chopper is friendly, its inclusion affirms more sweet wing action is on the way.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's finale is set to premiere on April 23, exclusively streaming on Disney+.
