Disney hasn’t released any official news on what will be covered in this meeting, but all signs point to some major announcements on the way.
The Star Wars universe currently has a new stream of Disney+ shows in preparation with Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor series and Ewan McGregor’s solo Obi Wan Kenobi show. There are other reports indicating that this meeting will also bring news that will signal some major expansions to the universe as a whole in the near future.
As for Marvel, the studio is currently all in on the promotional train for the MCU’s WandaVision premiering on Disney+ on January 15. Fans are also hoping for more confirmed release timeframes on other series in production like Loki and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier , as well as more confirmation that the Phase 4 movies like Black Widow will remain theatrical releases.
