In the thrilling opening action sequence of 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Cap and Natasha Romanoff as well as the members of a SHIELD strike team, must board the ship, The Lemurian Star in order to rescue hostages taken by Georges Batroc and his mercenary crew.

During these scenes, Steve Rogers is decked out in a stealthy, navy blue version of his Captain America uniform. His shield also receives a fresh coat of paint to go along with the suit, adopting a much more subdued blue and silver look.

This paint job on the shield is only present in the opening of Winter Soldier and later in the movie, returns to the classic red, white, and blue color scheme.

THIS STEALTH SHIELD WILL IRONICALLY STAND OUT IN A COLLECTION
